Replacement for 04 Tahoe

Sadly my 2004 Tahoe had 285k miles. It was still going strong and driven daily. But when I saw this 2009 with the options and price it was time to trade up. So far I love the newer one. The only big differences I have noticed are: 1. The 09 has more power. Both have the 5.3 flex motor. Must be the improved fuel injection. 2. The 09 has rack and pinion steering. So it turns sharper which is nice. But to me it does not give as good of a "feel" of the road. Almost feels like fly by wire compared to a steering gearbox. But I will get used to it.

All around great vehicle

This is a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LS. I've owned several smaller SUVs since 2005 and enjoyed all they have to offer, especially as the technology improves. The latest bluetooth connections, rear view cameras, remote starters and touch screens are all nice features which will more than likely never go away. This Tahoe has none of that detail. I installed a bluetooth system to connect to the stock radio and also a remote starter. I plan to install a camera some time in the near future. Other than being caught up in technology ahead of this vehicle's time, I love it. It's good looking, rides well, lots of power, very comfortable and all for a fair price in the used market.
