WONDERFUL CAR

This car is great and it is actually my second Traverse. Although I would never suggest buying from Copple GMC in Louisville, Ne because they are SCAMMERS. The car itself is of true CHEVY quality. It is very comfortable and the safety features are wonderful.

Awesome Car

This is our second Traverse. After the first one (2012) when it was time to replace it, I knew I wanted another one. I was not disappointed! My 2018 is amazing!

Most unreliable vehicle

Only 32000 miles and had been in the shop for issues 3 times. The last shop visit was right after our 1800 mile road trip. The transmission and engine running out of sync the entire 900 miles home. Felt very unsafe as lagging power and hesitation in transmission with every acceleration. Chevrolet dealer flushed the transmission and reset the computer, seemed to fix issues; but my wife and I felt quite discouraged and traded for something similar and more reliable the same day we got it out of the shop.

The fanciest car I’ve ever owned.

This car has plenty of leg room, dual sunroof, leather, and plenty of electronic amenities that creates an environment of extreme comfort. I recommend everyone checkout this vehicle, especially if you have a large family.

Best bang for yourbuck is the Chevy Traverse Premi

I was looking to buy our families new SUV. I rented and drove a 2018 Nissan Armada, a 2016 GMC Yukon XL Denali 4WD, 2017 Suburban, and a 2016 & 2018 Tahoe each for a week (the Tahoe for two weeks). I later test drove the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse FWD. The initial 2018 Chevrolet Traverse I drove was the 4 cylinder version. STAY AWAY FROM THI VERSION, it's underpowered, sluggish and does not represent the class well. I ended up test driving and buying a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse Premier AWD (Redline Edition), with 5000 Miles for $41K. It's sleek, look great, blacked out has lots of pick up, maneuverable and handles well in city traffic. The Yukon and Suburban both have more cargo space, a bit more interior space, but are "Tanks" when maneuvering in city traffic, hard to get in and out of small spaced, have no turning radius, and worse gas mileage when compared to the Traverse Premier. The Suburban's and Yukon's have more HP, but due to their weight, there is not a big noticeable difference in pulling and slows them down. At the same time, the 300HP Traverse is much lighter, giving it much more pick-up. The Traverse gas mileage is also about 2 MPG better than the Suburban and Yukon and Tahoe. I get 18 to 20 MPG in the city, depending on how I drive, 24-27 on the HWY (again depending on how I drive), and 24 MPG when averaging 80-84 MPH on a road trip isn't bad. The Tahoe was a close competitor bang for your buck... Where it lost out was turning radius, rear cargo space, and legroom in the rear bench seat (I know it surprised me too). There’s almost no room to put any luggage in the back of a Tahoe during a long trip. While Traverse also seats 7 comfortably, it has enough luggage space behind the rear bench for all seven to bring a 3 day + capacity of bags. On my trip to Branson last weekend we packed; 1 duffle, 2 backpack, 4 four small overhead compartment size suitcases, and one canvas grocery Bag filled with miscellaneous Items (the 2 backpacks and grocery bag fit in the back with other stuff in the hidden compartment below). If the Tahoe had been cheaper, made better room of the rear bench, and luggage space it would have won me over (the Suburban and Yukon win on luggage space and interior room, but that’s it). The Nissan Armada isn't a bad bang for your buck. However, in a side by side comparison, the Traverse is a slightly better deal. It has more base options; includes a little better Tech package, and it cost a little less when comparing new or used models, which makes the Traverse a better deal. The Chevrolet Traverse Premier AWD is super comfortable, fun to drive, and make excellent use of technology at no additional cost, which comes back to bang for your buck. The 2018 and 19 Chevrolet Traverse Premier AWD has all the same amenities, minus HUD, as the larger vehicles, but for around 16 -20K less. It seats seven passengers comfortably, and a family of 5 has plenty of room to spread out and bring enough luggage on a road trip. This is why I bought one and say, "The best bang for my/your buck is the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse Premier AWD."
