2018 Chevrolet Traverse consumer reviews

Love every thing in the traverse. Roomy and comfy. The WiFi is a plus and makes the kids so happy. So much room in the trunk as well

I love the car but the transmission is no good do not buy it. I bought a High Country and with 1500 miles My transmission needs work. I am have been to the shop twice and it appears this will be a Lemon

This is the bomb, it is everything I want in a car. I can't ask for more. It has lots of space,and theirs row seats.

Lots of room and very comfortable . Plenty of cargo space . Smooth ride and powerful engine. Added options such as On Star , GPS, Bluetooth, back up and surround camera , satellite radio, etc make this a great SUV. WiFi is a great feature to keep the family entertained on long trips. Chevrolet did an excellent job with this SUV

My Traverse is slow, I can feel it shift as it goes faster which makes for a rough ride. Two weeks after I got it I noticed a clicking noise when you turn it's in the front of the vehicle in the tires. My iPod skips and sometimes won't play, that was bad when we took our family trip out of state. The inside is comfortable.

Transmission failed at 10k miles, leaving family stranded in 95 degree heat. Chevy roadside assistance, Onstar, Local dealers, nobody came to get us (we were in a very rural area after 6pm on a Saturday and no rental car places were open, no Uber, no internet- just voice cell service). Chevy wanted to tow to small local dealership- we had to pay out of our own pocket to get it towed to our dealership. Had to call friends to get us. Repairs took 2 weeks, plate replacement and software re-load to fix. One month later (while trying to get to a wedding), transmission will not engage when shifting into drive. Will have to go back into shop. This year model does not have the bugs worked out- the 9 speed transmission is not reliable. We begged Chevrolet to give us relief and buy back the vehicle. We were denied. Please save yourself and your family. Avoid this car at all costs. We love the look and features of the car (why we bought it).. Thankfully my family is ok- but this could have very easily ended very badly. It is not worth the risk to your family- especially since Chevrolet will not take ownership of this defect.

Overall very please with the ride and inside dimensions of the Traverse. It feels like a full size SUV in a slightly smaller package. The V6 has plenty of power and good gas mileage. Over all it is a very comfortable truck for the driver as well as the passenger.

I love my new Traverse. It is comfortable and runs great. I'm still getting used to all the new features, but the more I find out, the more I like it.

Myself and my wife love this car , it is roomy and has plenty of seating for our whole family to ride in comfort and all the creature comforts are a plus, and the driving aids like the back up camera and lane assist really come in handy
