Most expensive piece of junk I have ever purchased
Back of passenger seat keeps falling off; drivers seat if terribly uncomfortable for long distance - especially when not able to use cruise control due to rain or heavy traffic. Now the gearshift button has jammed and needs to be replaced at a cost of >$460.00. Mechanic told me this is an "ongoing problem" for GM and has not been made a recall item as it was for the Sonic when the same problem occurred in that model - shameful.

Nothing but problems
67000 miles on the 2015 LS. Already had a leaking oil valve that had oil shooting out of the back of my vehicle the day after an oil change at dealership. Malfunctioning AC in October 2018 - Over $1400 in repairs negotiated down to $350 due to previous experience. Now it’s May 2018 and the AC is out again. Chevy made a crap product. My husband has so issues with his Honda.

Awesome vehicle!
Perfect AWD vehicle for me. The size is small and fun to drive. It's certainly not a large family vehicle but it's the right size for me.

Great MPG for AWD, Good in Snow, Poor Reliability
2 years ago, my wife traded in her extremely reliable 2002 Ford Taurus with 230,000 miles for a certified pre-owned 2015 Chevy Trax LT AWD with 30,000 miles. She needed a AWD that got good gas mileage because her new career had her driving up to 90 miles a day on snowy back roads. This Trax seemed to be the best fit and was unbelievable good in deep snow, especially with having snow tires on top of having AWD and still being able to get 27 MPG! on top of the Chevy MyLink system being junk the following problems began a couple months later. 38,000 miles: The rear break calipers sticking and ruined the rotors and pads. Warranty repair. 47,000 miles: One of the rear seat belt buckles broke. CPO warranty repair. 56,000 miles: Car became very under powered and had oil smell in car. Spark plugs some how worked their way out. CPO warranty repair. 67,000 miles: Oil smell in car returned dur to a leaking valve cover. Warranty repaired. 71,000 Miles: Engine started making a bad tapping sound. Replaced a emissions control part = $170 out of pocket. In addition, the mechanic found that the AC compressor and radiator was already leaking. Combined, it is a $1400 repair on a car that isn't even 5 years old yet. 74,000 Miles: Just noticed the black paint is flaking off of the lift gate. Again, the car isn't even 4 years old. BTW: I take really good care of our vehicles. This vehicle is having issues that a car twice it's age with twice it's mileage would have.

Bought a 2015 Chevy Trax in April 2015. Love it.
Car is fine. Only thing missing is a CD player.I like the anti-lock breaks and have no problem with the rear or side view mirrors.I especially like the Royal Blue color I bought.

I would shop around
If this car didn't have the problems that I have had with it, would love it. But, I have had problems. The biggest being the starter coil pack went out. I had to have it towed to the dealer. Then about a week after getting it back it started acting the same. Running rough, traction light and engine check light coming on. So, another tow. This time it was a cracked piston!! It has been in the shop now for almost 3 weeks. I did purchase an extended warranty 80,000 and all repairs have been paid for minus the 100.00 deductible. But that warranty will expire in 20.000 miles. I am nervous!!!!!
