Total Family mini-van

As a senior with 32 kids grand and great-grands, my 2010 T&C Touring is an ideal vehicle. The auto/shift forward/reverse/park gearshift of the new transmission is great. I get more than the EPA rated mileage cross country (27) but only average 18 in town with the 3.8 engine. always had a Dodge Stow and Go with 4.0 engine with cloth seats which alittle more comfortable than the leather but prefer the leather for my smalled tikes as it is easier to clean. I recommend this vehicle with cellphone/video Sirius radio .

Satisfied with Purchase

3rd T&C I have owned over the last 12 years. Love the Stow n go seats - don't have to lug seats out anymore and have them gather dust in the garage. When upright, makes for lots of extra storage. This was the major selling point of the van for us, nobody else offers stowable middle and rear seats. However, because of this the rear seats are not that comfortable, especially for longer rides (hence the lower comfort rating). Interior could be a bit nicer - leather seats do not appear to be as durable as those in the 2000 that I traded off. Really don't like how Chrysler likes to bundle options - like voice recognition & Nav system with two rear DVD players - only jacks up the cost. Accelleration is OK, but probably not as good as my last van, even with the 4.0L. Voice recognition system is marginal and needs a lot of work to match the Sync system Ford offers.

Boooo

I have a 2007 T&C (old body style) and it runs and works well. I got the 2008 new body style with the captains chairs, dvd's, everything and the bells and whistles are great but the important stuff is horrible! 24k miles and the transmission was replaced twice! I kid you not. All brakes replaced...grinding metal at 20k miles! And a host of other problems. Oh yes..and only 11-14 miles city. Wow..good thing I lease it. Never buy this..but lease it if you want because they will fix powertrain not brakes though...

Kind of good to own

I don't like the power chain to open and close the doors and back end. I'd like it better if a person could open and shut the sliding doors and back end.

Love the van

Much more comfortable than the Toyota and Honda units. Love the van. Certainly better features and ease of use than the foreign models. And so far very reliable and a good ride

Got a good deal

I have spend 3 weeks researching, calling, emailing and visiting a bunch of dealer around my area while I was in the market for a minivan and finally I puchased a T/C 2010 touring with electric doors and tailgate, satellite radio, 110v inverter, 3 section indenpendent air control, stow and go and alot more. I was very surprise with all the features that my unit have in comparison with honda or toyota's minivans also without paying $7000 comparind to other brand with simular features. Even my wife said that she was not expecting us to buy a minivan with so many features. My engine is 3.8 V6. Which has been giving me very smooth drive with very few hiccups. I know that a lot of people have been rating it with low liability. So far I haven't encountered any issue with my units. Gas mileage is not the best but I don't expect much from a minivan. Overall 19 mpgs mix city/hwy. Roomy to all extends specially with one of the captain seets stowed, specially recomended for families with babies, with one seat down you have enought space to change diapers or for the kids to strech stading inside the car while parking in a rest area during long drives. I really like this specially during winter. Interior design visually is very atractive but material is average. Just cheap hard plastic console with no soft rubberize padding as its import conterparts. But is fine with me. I recomend those buyer to research around and try to hit the end of the month deals like I did. Saved a lot of $$$
