very nice van
We love the it, great van with great gas mileage, lots of room, comfortable, easy to drive and great radio like the storage of seats & quiet ride
Upgrade from a 2013 to this 2016
We loved our 2013 Town & Country so we wanted to upgrade to a newer model with less miles. A 2016 with just 27,000 miles was the ticket.
I loved the car but...
I like to take road trips sometimes with extended family. There's plenty of room in the second row and not as much but it's sufficient in the third row and plenty of room for our gear. The drawback to this vehicle is that it has been discontinued. If you need any body repair work at all , it's with aftermarket parts and they are incredibly expensive.
Great utility and superb MPG
Owned the vehicle almost 4 years and loved it! Plenty of power and got 30-31 mpg on the highway at 70 mph! However, due to 3.6 liter engine, only 16-17 in town. Purchased CPO - Certified Pre Owned - from a dealer. Very comfortable for four passengers and can carry up to seven plus some luggage. Stow 'N Go seating has a learning curve, but provides a flat surface. (To stow the middle seats you must first move the front seats as far forward as they will go.) The ONLY repair required was replacing the front passenger side power window switch. I bought a new one from Rockauto and replaced it myself. I can do some stuff, but not even a novice mechanic. (Thank goodness for youtube videos!) We'd likely still have it if Trump had been reelected, because then we wouldn't have fuel prices spiraling out of control. Traded it in on a hybrid.
Good family car
This car has lots of features which make it attractive as a family car. It has a rear entertainment DVD player which is good for long trips with kids, as well as electrical outlets and USB ports in the back for kids’ electronics. There is plenty of room and the Stow and Go seating is very versatile. This is my second Town and Country - my first one went 330,000 miles so I hope this one will do as well.
We lost a transmission and someof the were replace
This has been a great vehicle . We lost our transmission at 87k miles. We have had 4 vans and two new trucks all Chrysler. They would not replace the faulty pump based on our VIN number. Will have to keep this in mind when we but another van.
I wouldn't buy a Chrysler ever again
I only have 67500 miles on it and it needs a new radiator and some of the hose need to be replacing had to fix a leak in the transmission. Needed new tires 2 years after I bought it.
Reliable luxury in a van!
This van is luxurious and comfortable no matter where you sit. I love all the convenient options and fits the needs of everyone in the family. This is my second Town and Country and I am happy with it in every way.
Excellent van vehicle
This Town and Country van is spectacular. Chrysler should have never stopped making it. Great features, little feature as well are very important. These are great to hang onto. Take care of and it will serve you well.
Minivans are most versatile vehicles
We have had minivans since 1984 and found that they are best for trips and hauling kids around town. Over the years they helped move kids from college to their homes. And once we became empty nesters, we relied on our minivan to be our truck from hauling garden supplies to building materials. The stow & go seating is a must, as lifting seats out (in previous vans) was becoming as issue. Love this minivan and great for the grandkids with the room for all their belongings. DVD player is fun also!
