Reliable mid size truck

I have owned this vehicle for 12 years and it?s been a great daily driver. It?s performance in all types of weather is second to none. I don?t understand why dodge stopped making them.

makes rangers and chevy duallys/with gas wimps

best flippn truck ever sure it has a few dents and scrapes that i made because of my idiotic driving but its more reliable than a dumpster. I wish it had 4X4 drive but still I love my 2 door Dakota and I've tried many cars and truck but they aren't the same as my old Dakota and nothing will be the same the bed is comfortable sure it has a few critters crawling around it but I've slept in it many times and it is my only investment I probably wouldn't buy another vehicle if this truck ever gets totaled.

Most Durable Truck I've Owned

This truck has met all of my needs, from: towing to moving to handling off road conditions well. It has roughly 92,000 miles on it but not a trace of rust. It has suffered no cosmetic issues besides for the material on the ceiling beginning to sag. It handles very well in difficult weather conditions.

It's everything I need and want in a truck. Roomy. Headroom. Comfortable ride and looks great. And the women love it.

Great truck . I bought it new in 2004

Great truck. good on gas . looks great and runs like new. I bought this truck new. I have maintained it myself. Oil changes every 3000 miles. Goes to show how important it is to maintain your car.

Pretty tough and durable truck

I've owned this truck since it was brand new and to be honest didn't take the best care of it or keep up on maintenance. It now has over 200,000 miles and while I have had to fix a couple things here and there, nothing major has gone out and it's never left me stranded on the side of the road. I wish they still made things this bullet proof! It has leather interior which has held up to years of mud and hair from dogs and everything else that comes with working on a ranch and still cleans up nicely. Still averaging around 17mpg too!

Great dependable work truck.

This truck has been very dependable from the day we bought it almost 10 years ago. We used the truck to carry furniture to and from public auctions. Still running strong at 173,000 miles. We have found the Dodge Dakota is more hefty compared to the Ford Ranger. That is why we are selling the 2004 and have bought a 2010 Dodge Dakota recently.

best small truck out there!

I bought the 4.7 V8 quad cab (manual) in 04' with 8miles on it. I use it for work, daily commutes, towing and long trips. just regular maintenance and new tires. I've put over 130,000 and finally blown out 2 of the cylinders. Looking for a new engine now to keep it rolling I love this truck.
