2006 R/T Magnum AWD
This is a GREAT car. It is comfortable, spacious, handles well, and is FAST. It hauls everything that I need for it to haul, and does it in style. Although the 5.7L Hemi isn't the most economical engine, I am now getting more mpgs due to my installation of a cold air intake - which, incidentally, increased the horsepower to 361 at the same time. The AWD is flawless, and keeps us on track in all road conditions. My Mag is a winner that I'll keep driving 'til the wheels fall off - actually, I'll put the wheels back on and keep going.

Favorite Car of Mine...
The Magnum R/T '06 was the 9th car I owned and my favorite. The sleek design, HEMI V8 engine, leather interior, and comfortable feel is all anybody will ever need. This car "humms" on long trips to Vegas and San Diego and "zips" around the city for shorter jaunts. And the headlight "flashes" you get from other Magnum owners; you're immediately part of a family once you own one. Unfortunately, I sold mine to afford a house. In years to come I will look-again to purchase this "soon to be classic"...

Great Car 06 Magnum R/T
cons: lots of blind spots lack of easy access storage for your trinkets no map pockets on seat backs needs more padding in a few places Pros: unique style and good looks big power for a large car great long distance cruiser carries and tows big loads likely become a collector car AWD provides SUV-like traction smooth and quiet ride reasonable gas mileage 4300 lbs but goes well on the track can be modified easily to go REAL well on the track Had the car for around 15 months, and like it more and more all the time. I've had a lot of different vehicles, and this one rates very high on my list.

I love my new car. It sucks in the snow! But if it snows, I drive my truck. Its got lots of power and I have no issues with visablity. Very comfortable, love the heated seats, dvd and steering wheel controls.

Found a Mercedes in Dodge clothing!
I've owned over a hundred cars in the past 45 years, including several Mercedes! When Dodge introduced the Magnum in 2004, I was impressed! I drove a few, and really liked the handling, brakes, comfort, and especially that Hemi engine! I waited until late 2005 and bought a 2006 R/T. I put about 75K miles on it without ever having any problems. Last summer a driver pulled directly across the lane I was driving in, and I hit her stopped car broadside at 55 MPH. The Magnum was totalled, but I walked away from the accident with only a minor scratch on my thumb. After I was paid by my Insurance Co. I started shopping for another new car. I checked out several upper-end sports sedans, but none really excited me. I saw a used Magnum on a lot, and for the fun of it, I test drove it. I decided I wanted another Magnum! I searched the used car sites until I found the exact same Magnum I had previously owned. It had only 23K miles on it. I flew out to Spokane, WA and they picked me up in the car at the airport. I bought the car and had an enjoyable 1800 mile drive home. The car is fully equipped! It has navigation, Satellite radio, and every option, except the ugly roof rack. It's like owning a Mercedes with an American kick-butt Hemi under the hood! It is a drivers car, with a perfect 50-50 weight balance, excellent brakes, and all that Hemi power! All the interior convieniences are within easy reach. The seats are very supportive, and very comfortable on long trips. I averaged 22.5 MPG on the way home with the Hemi. Thank God for traction controll! This Hemi would wear out rear tires at an alarming rate if not for the traction controll! I like big cars with big power, and the Magnum is all of that, and then some! Too bad they quit building them! I feel these Magnums will be collectable in a few years.

totally sweet ride
My brother bought an R/T in 2005, and he and I drove it from Indiana to New Mexico. I loved the styling and the way it drove. He traded it off a year later to get an SUV that he could sleep in more comfortably. I think he is still sorry. So in 2009 when I was buying a car for my wife, I researched it thoroughly. It seemed that an SXT would be perfect with all wheel drive. I found a dark blue one with RWD and 35K miles in great shape. I had found many grey ones for sale, and was not impressed. But this dark blue looked like a really cool Mafia car for sure. Then we moved to central CA, and AWD is not needed here. Great!! Now we see them all over the streets here. They are reasonable new, but have lousy resale value, so a nice one is cheap to buy now, and wonderful to drive and own. We just love everything about ours. I think the R/T would be a bit much for my wife anyway. Also I researched pulling a trailer with it. No problems. I pulled a 2,000 lb (loaded) trailer from IN to CA through an icy storm in OK City with no problems. I never had traction control before, but now I am a believer. The brakes have been done at 45K miles, and new tires, but on a performance car that is not bad. What a fun, head-turning car to have.

The Dog Limo
My older dog was having trouble getting into and out of my 2002 Explorer Sport (197,000+ miles), the DogMobile. So I upgraded and got him a Dog Limo. And I like it too! It's got the Hemi and can really move when I need it too! Plus leather seats, all the fixin's, and lots of room for two dogs and my stuff. Great car. I found it on line and inquired about it, and the salesman brought it to me to test drive. And then the next day they made me a good deal. I wish the back window opened and that the back seats folded down flat, but otherwise it's perfect.

Magnum R/T
I love this car! The styling is either love it or hate it, and I do love it. The ride is firm but comfortable, performance is outstanding for such a large vehicle. The mileage on the highway is impressive - we consistently get over 25 mpg on long trips averaging 70 mph, fully loaded. Around town I admit I still like to put my foot down and blow away those Hondas and Toyotas with loud mufflers. I've done some minor modifications - the car just seems to bring out the creativity in people, I've seen some outrageous mods on line. I'm keeping it!

No Hemi but still admirable performance!
SXT is great on gas WITH acceleration! The styling is not a run of the mill auto. It still turns heads! I love all the room this vehicle offers and delivers the cargo in style!
