I love my DODGE like I love myself

i love my car from the fisrt time I stepped in it, it is perfect for someone 6'2" and for my girl friend 5'7". It is not an SUV but I have managed to fit everything from a smith machine, water heater, a full club sound system w/ 2 speakers, 3 adluts and 2 child seats and all the luggage in the wrld. It get me 20mpg around town if I obey the speed limit and if i choose not to I get between 18-19. Highway I can take a tank from Fort Lauderdale to Oceola/Disney and back. i love my dodge and the serive plan. I have one complaint the thingy that you have in the trunk that folds and covers the storeage space ticks me off becasue its not deep enough and there is not release for the trunk. But its still th ebest option for a non SUV vehicle.

I LOVE THIS CAR AND IT'S MY WIFE'S

WHEN FIRST SEEING THIS CAR I FEEL IN LOVE WITH IT. IT REMINDED ME OF THE OLD 55 NOMAD WAGON. WE HAD A GREAT TOYOTA SOLRA 2 DOOR. SINCE WE ARE NO LONGER TEENAGERS. WE NEEDED A 2 DOOR, THAT WAS ALSO A GROCREY GETTER. I MA A BIG MOPAR FAN FROM MY YOUTH. I HAD A 70 CUDA 440 CONVERTABLE AND A 70 CHALLENGER RT/SE 383 MAGNUM. I WISH I HAD THEM NOW. BACK TO THE MAGNUM. I CUTOMIZED MY MAGNUM WITH A BILLIT GRILL,CHROME POSTS,REAR LIGHT BEZELS,REAR CHROME LID HANDLE,CHROME MIRRORS AND CHROME DOOR HANDLES. NOW I AM ABOUT TO PURCHASE CHROME STOCK RIMS FOR HER. I LIKE THE STOCK ITEMS OF THE CAR. NEVER MESS WITH PERFECTION. SO YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER I HAD TO TALK MY WIFE INTO GETTING THIS CAR. I KEPT POINTING THEM OUT WHEN I SAW ONE ON THE STREET. THEN WE WENT FOR A TEST DRIVE. THE COMBINATION BETWEEN THE LOOKS AND HANDLING OF THE CAR SOLD HER. I JUST THINK THAT THERE SHOULD BE A BETTER AUDIO SYSTEM FROM THE FACTORY IN IT. SHE IS ALWAYS BEING ASKED IF THE CAR IS A CUTOM MAGNUM. I ALSO ADDED CHROME AROUND THE WHEEL WELLS. SO THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND MAGNUM IN LAS VEGAS. I HAVE YET TO SEE ANOTHER MAGNUM THAT HAS ALL THE GOODIES I PUT ON THE CAR. SOME HAVE THE BILLIT GRILLS BUT NOT 1 HAS THE WHOLE PACKAGE THAT I DID TO HER. NOW WITH THE STOCK CHROME RIMS. SHE WILL REALLY STAND OUT. I JUST WISH I COULD HAVE AFFORDED THE HEMI. THEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN 7TH HEAVEN. AS OF NOW I AM JUST IN HEAVEN. GREAT JOB YOU FOLKS OVER THERE. I AM HOPING AND PRAYING THAT MATBE ONE DAY I WILL HIT THE LOTTERY AND EITHER WIN THE NEW CHALLENGER OR WIN IT IN THE CONTEST. THEN I CAN DIE WITH A BIG GRIN ON MY FACE FOR SURE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AT MOPAR. YOU HAVE GIVEN US OLD GUYS SOMETHING TO BE PROUD TO DRIVE. THE THING IS AND IT'S NEW. I DON'T HAVE TO REBULID ANYTHING OR HIT A JUNK YARD FOR PARTS. BY THE WAY I HAVE A 1985 CHEV. EL CAMINO. SHE TOO IS A SWEET CAR. IT'S NOT A MOPAR. I DO FEEL THAT I HAVE AN ENCLOSED EL CAMINO WITH THE MAGNUM. SO I HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN TOUCH IN MONTHS. IT'S PARKED IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE UNDER A CAR COVER TO KEEP THE LAS VEGAS SUN FROM DESTOYING HER. THE MAGNUM IS IN THE GARAGE NEXT TO THE HARLEY. KEEP THEM COMING. YOUR DESIGNS HAVE SURPASSED ALL THE REST.

2006 Magnum R/T AWD HEMI

We were originally looking into getting an SUV. We were looking at the Chrysler Pacifica, while a nice car had WAY too little power on the test drive. We went to an auto show and I sat in the Dodge Magnum. Right away I knew the car was a better fit for me. Being 6'2" this was the first car that I fit in easily. I set up a test drive and was going to drive the 6 cylinder model but ended up driving the R/T model. I was sold the minute I put the pedal half way to the floor going up a hill! I also wanted to add that I also drive a 98 Trans Am and this car outhandles it with ease! There is a corner that I can take at 50-55 with the TransAm but with the Magnum I have already pushed it to 65 and can still go more. The suspension is excellent for a car this size, it does not handle like any other car this size.

DRUL

The Dodge Magnum is at the apex of ingenuity. This is a distinctly developed formulation of high level engineering practices which sufficiently combines the variables of performance, sporty-styled luxury, and economy. Without any doubts, the Magnum has made its mark in automotive history. Its utility is noted to be well beyond adequate as the Magnum is well suited to carrying a complement of five passengers or with the seats easily folded into the floor, can carry a host of other commodities. Thus, the Magnum maintains a high level of versatility by properly managing demanding performance and economy coupled wirj its resourcefulness in varying the payloads of choice. Cockpit controls are shown to be well designed as they are all within easy reach of the driver, and are effortlessly identified by function. In my estimation the Magnum has magnificent styling, provides a sleek looking space-age design and presents a not too out of touch futuristic look. An interesting observation is that the 3.5 V6 AWT carries the same fuel economy rating as its more powerful big brother the 5.7/V8 Hemi. This could appear to be an illogical scientific phenomena, but is the result of the Hemi engine design allowing operation on reduced cylinders. When limited performance demands are made the result is improved fuel economy. Therefore, in essence, owning a Magnum is like getting your cake and eat it too. Overall, the Magnum easily meets the grade on all fronts. Without reservation, the Magnum can be effortlessly compared to a tactical high-performance jet aircraft which is finely defined in function for its intended mission, while having been engineered for simultaneous performance on a number of multi-level platforms. The Magnum is proof: Good things do come to those that wait

Not as cool as I thought

I rented a base model Magnum in Las Vegas and drove it for three days. It was an adequate rental for four adults plus luggage -- space and interior comfort seem to be this wagon's forte. I was less impressed with the performance and handling. I'm sure the hemi-powered version is more exciting, but the base engine is underpowered for on-ramp merging. Getting on it seemed to have more impact on the gas guage than the speedometer. I'm a big fan of the car's exterior styling, but inside, it all ads up to poor visibility for the driver. I found myself craning forward to see stoplights, and relying extra-heavily on the sideview mirrors, which aren't the best. Otherwise, no real complaints. Good controls, storage and amenities.

Cool Moms Unite!

When my husband and I were looking for a new vehicle we debated between an entry-level SUV and a sport wagon. After sitting in the Magnum, the choice became an easy one. With a ton of "get-up-and-go" (350hp), sleek design, great safety features with child seat straps built in, and great storage it was the perfect mom-mobile without succombing to minivans and wood paneling. I highly recommend the great NAV system as the display is huge and is really easy to use. Also on the hot list is an upgrade to 22" chrome wheels. A spendy upgrade, but worth the looks. We've had no problems thus far and we love the car!
