2003 Dodge Ram 1500 consumer reviews

Dodge has been reliable dependable but when something goes bad it cost an arm and a leg . It seems to me that there is never a cheap repair because the part's cost way to much.

This truck is a 4x4 1500 w 18 inch rims mud tires upgrade the radio to gps system it's a good truck drive it to work and home move some family members ..old reliable

This truck is amazing. It drives so smooth, accelerates great, sounds awesome. Never any issues. I will always love this truck. SUPER FUN TO DRIVE!! People turn their heads at stoplights when you come up to them. It’s awesome

I am happy I got the cash to buy a truck but I haven't decided on one yet but in Feb I will looking to buy soon

ive owned dodge rams since the 80s. my opinion is their the best truck on the road ! ive owned nis,toy,chev,ford&gmc,i always go back to dodge or ram ! i now own a 2003 ram thunder road with a 5.9 hemi.

Gorgeous vehicle. Sixteen years old but looks like new. Kept in excellent condition. Large spacious interior. Lot of leg room, front and back. Lots of storage and cargo space. Drives like a dream. Absolutely perfect for all my needs. Couldn't have found a better deal anywhere. I love it!

Very dependable,I have never had any major issues with it.I would sell it to any friend orvfamily member.Still has plenty of life left.Would make for a great every day vehicle or work truck!!

This truck has been used as a work truck and commuter. It tows a two ton trailer just fine as well as super smooth on the highway. It had a few parts replaced from regular wear including a radiator, water pump, and front wheel bearings after it hit 100,000 miles. Thankfully not all at once. Everything can be done yourself with some knowledge and a YouTube video. V8 gas mileage is not great but it’s a work truck so it’s to be expected. I love this truck and will keep it until I can’t fix it anymore.

They have a good vehicle that is designed well and I have a conversion van from 2003 but Dodge Chrysler did the worst paint job and did not used top-notch paint or primer and dust it peels off and it is a faulty paint job and yet they do everything they can to just ignore and not respond and it is a lot of money for a decent pay job to get redone and one shouldn't have to spend that in the vehicle that was never damaged in an accident and not in the snow and still fleece off in 4 inch pieces when I drive this is the reason why when I buy my new van in a year I will not buy a Dodge even since I told them this and they still didn't respond they are not very good in customer service they do not back their products and they do crappy crappy paint jobs.. I was contacted by corporate when I started making complaints online and he said to go to a local dealership once I got to California and try calling a couple and did not receive calls back, I will bring it in and keep you posted if they are trustworthy or another average scammer dealership .. hopefully they are honest and repaint the parts that are severe, I don't expect it to be perfect for your brand new but it is ridiculous that they flick off in 4 inch pieces due to feedback from the factory and manufacturer which is Dodge
