2003 Dodge Ram 1500 consumer reviews

Like the quad cab which gives you 4 doors and room to haul people while still giving a decent sized bed. Good looking truck. Bought the truck when it had 140,000 miles and existing issues. Sold when it had 230,000 miles. Had head gasket problems and transmission seemed to be nearing end of life. Horrible gas mileage averaging around 12mpg around town and 17mpg on the highway. Eight cyl, not the hemi.

I am on my 5 th Dodge 1500 5.7 L 4WD. They have never let me down. Use as a daily driver and to haul my horses.

Awesome 413k Original engine. Runs like a new truck. Looks like a new truck. Amazes me every time I get in and look at odometer. Any questions?

I love the truck it drives and handle real good. Is it real good reliable truck overall it worth the money good sounding audio good traction comfortable and very powerful

Great truck to haul and commute with!! Loved that is has cargo storage behind the seats for trips or to put things. No carpet inside which was nice when it was muddy for easy clean up!! Loved this truck since we have bought it!! Great reliable vehicle!!

I love my truck,its the best riding,driving truck you can buy but I med my mileage and speedometer working.i f I had to buy a new truck it will always be a dodge

Nice truck. Runs great. Never a problem with it. Has a few rust spots. Would buy a second one later on. Overall great truck would recommend!

My truck has served me flawlessly for more than 10yrs. 6mo ago I stared having an issue where the truck would just randomly die. I took it to dealership and after 4mo they called me and told me they give up. They can not figure it out and they even asked Chrysler engineers to help them and they couldn't figure it out either. Apparently Chrysler Fired all the engineers that new how to work on this design and hired a bunch of kids out of school for half price. Now Chrysler doesn't have any seasoned Engineers. So if you need to fix a Chrysler vehicle older than 10yrs then it is repairable because they do not make the parts anymore nor have anyone that can work on them.

I've owned this truck several years and am the second owner. This has been a very reliable powerhouse of a truck; I call it my little semi (think 18 wheeler), because it has one of the best towing capacities of any truck in its class. I considered passing this truck down to my son as his first vehicle, but I think the Hemi might be a bit much for a first time driver.

GREAT truck! I have only had it about 4 months, but I really, really love my truck! I caught a really, really great deal, truck only had 67980 miles on it when I purchased it for $7k. It rides smooth and you can really see the road. Blind spots on the each side while driving and backing up. Pretty comfortable inside, leather seats and very, very roomy. Very good acceleration, but the trade off is low gas mileage. I changed out the headlights to LEDs. Looks great! In the short time I have owned it, I have gotten lots and lots of compliments. It seems very reliable. Time will tell. But, for right now, I love Sir Brutus!!! :-)
