This truck is far and away better than the 2000 model I had. One of the best trucks I have ever owned.(and I've owned a lot) Great guts for a v-6 actually performs more like a v-8.

I have owned 4 Dodge trucks previous to this current beauty I now call my truck. I think trading my nice 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, that only had 44,000 easy miles on it, for my new 08 was by far the worst choice I have ever made. I have had 2 Dakotas and 2 Rams before and I have to tell you that my current one cannot hold a candle to the old ones. I have spent about 1 day a week at the dealer getting things repaired since I bought it 11 months ago. The quality is as if they rushed to get all of the leftover junk laying around the factory crammed into what they pass off as truck to get the sale. In this case the loser was me. The seats are junk, the interior plastic is junk, and every thing with the exception of the body and Hemi engine has been replaced. I hope the 2009 is a better truck, I may never know as I think I will buy a Toyota Tundra the next time.

I've always wanted to own a Dodge Ram truck since I was a kid.And,Nov.17,2007 my dream came thru.I purchase The Big Horn series.When I first got inside the truck I look at the mileage and it only got 7 miles on it.Yow!!!I said,thats a lucky number.On 7th day,w/7 miles,on 11/17/2007.ALL SEVEN.This truck was built for luck.AMEN.

Upgraded from a 98' Dakota. Great deal on the truck, almost %50 off MSRP. Handles great for such a huge truck, brakes are excellent. The Hemi had ridiculous power, and ridiculous city mileage. But learn to work the MDS and highway mileage is great for a big truck. I like the interior with its tough interior fabric, and all controls are laid out well. My only complaint is a fairly rough ride around town. This is the ONLY area where other trucks may be superior. Can't beat the lifetime powertrain warranty.

With the price of gas, they aren't moving off of the lot. Many dealers are selling them 1/2 off the sticker price. I know you are getting the depreciated value of the vehicle up front but a truck with auto trans, V-8 (Hemi), AC, Power windows and locks and with 20" wheels (Lone Star Edition) you can't beat it. If the prices are high where you are at, check the prices in South Texas and you will see that you get the most truck for the money. Plus the sound of the Hemi is my main cause for bad gas mileage.

I am amazed at the great handling and the smoothe ride that I get from this Ram. I also like the good mileage (2-WD) that I get. I must say that I am very happy with this vehicle, and was totally surprised at the great performance and power of the 4.7 engine. I love the room and the comfort of the interior of this truck. I guess I just found a winner.

Mega Cab Laramie Hemi 4WD. Have owned it for one month, love it so far, no problems. Got a great deal with all the rebates. Very few out there with side airbags?? Mileage is good if driven for economy, poor if driven hard. Great handling. Tows my trailers well. Mega cab is HUGE, great for people or storage. GPS is user friendly, love the U-Connect phone feature. Only real complaints, no rear seat AC ducting, hot in city driving here in Arizona, probably cold back there in the winter; and no Ipod input. Would recomend it to others.

Poor quality from the start. Horrible mileage, much worse than advertised. I experienced numerous problems the first week I owned the vehicle and the dealer took several tries to fix the problems. After my fourth trip to back to the dealer one of the service crew told me that these problems are very common and I may just have to learn to live with them.

Much better than any other truck out there (silvarado, f150-450, tundra). Amazing power and handling. Hauls great. I recomend it greatly

2008 Dodge 2500 HD with 6.7 cummins and 6 speed auto and the off road package. I pull a boat and spend lots of time getting to hunting and fishing areas. It's the best truck I've had to date!!
