Love the car, drive, and interior. Problem is all the exterior trim falls off, clips break, expensive to replace. Too bad because otherwise great car

Had this car 3 years, and I’m planning to keep it longer, despite its faults. I have the 2016 500x 2ltr diesel, 4x4 auto version. All good, apart from... AC stopped working - and will be very costly to fix; and Intermittent gearbox problem - generally happens after a few hundred miles at motorway speed. Dealer doesn’t know what to do, out of warranty, and they deny there was a recall - which, if you google, is really easy to find.

I brought this car on 2/26, drove it about 30 min off the lot and it broke down on me the transmission light came on and the car locked on me in the middle of the street, I had to call the dealership and they had to send a tow truck to come get the car...I got my check back from them after they tried to tell me this can happen ??Really. And now I'm looking for another car..

Having a baby soon. Needed something with more room and top tier safety rating. After researching, I went and drove a 2016 500x. Drive was great. Transmission takes some getting use to but I love it now. I get looks and questions about it all the time.

So far, so good!!! I have not had any problems with it nor do I expect to either. I was initially just looking at vehicles for a future replacement but the price and the extremely low mileage on it was something that I could not pass on!!

Very cute and fun to drive. It took me a while to find exactly what I wanted, they don’t have many in the states compared to other males. But it’s worth it

I just bought this car used. The first few miles have been a joy driving. And I look forward to more. Handling is very good, a bit stiff which I prefer. Navigation, blind spot, rear camera, sunroof... all the bells and whistles. And enough torque to pass others

After more than 2 years of driving this car, I still look forward to getting in it. The creature features are more than adequate, and handling and performance of this fun little car exceed my expectations. Easy to drive in traffic, including good visibility, and comfortable on the highways.

This car has been wonderful. I will have it for a total of 3 years this November. The AWD does help out a ton especially for Midwest winters. The Sport mode function also is fun. It makes it fun to drive on the highway. Maintenance has also been good. No complaints! I just hate that I really don't see that many on the road. I wonder if it's "too small" for American standards.

Seatbelt is better than most, yet rubs my neck or chin at my driving position. .... Seating is very comfortable. ... Would add more steering wheel adjustments. ... Love warning lights & sounds. ... Have problems with TRANSMISSION, but our vin # is NOT ON NHTSA RECALL list, or on Chrysler's, and it SHOULD BE. It is doing just what the recall describes. It shifts into neutral without any warning whatsoever. .... Gas mileage fluctuates, but I think that is probably because of poor value gasoline. Overall this a good sound auto. Nice and easy to drive - only wish it was turbo.
