Just bought the EcoSport

Just pick up the car last Friday. So far I am surprised how well the car is made. I researched before buying and was concerned about the performance. The 1.0 liter EcoBoost is a nice little engine. It's no Mustang GT500, but it gets up and goes just fine. I drive city and highway to and from work. I have no problem accelerating and merging on the highway. Stop and go driving I have no issues either. The engine is not loud like I have heard in some reviews. It's rather quiet even going 80 mph. I purchased the S model. It comes nicely equipped with almost everything I had in my 2014 Titanium Focus (sans sunroof, back up sensors, and touch screen.). The car is smaller in dimensions then my Focus was so it fits nicely in my garage. The interior is a bit bigger than my Focus (at least is seems so to me.). The ride is nice for an SUV. I think if you are looking for a car where it's just one or two people most of the time, then this is a good car to get (the back seat leg room is almost none existent when the front seat s pushed back.).

Small but full of fun

This car is different from others we have owned. Smaller but very comfortable and roomier than you may think. Drive home was great. Very pleased.

Nice trade from my 2012 Escape

My Escape suffered major hail damaged and was totalled. My intention was to buy another Escape but test drove the Ecosport and decided it was a better fit. I am retired, kids are grown and our other vehicle is an F150. So I was able to sacrifice the room for better gas mileage. I have it for a week and so far no complaints. Love the color--Canyon Ridge. Wish the seating color had more options. I settled for the SE because I wanted 4WD, but didnt need the options the Titanium had. Car payment is $70 less than the payment on my Escape was, and i bought that used. I dont think this is a good family car as the roo. In the back is small and so is the trunk space. But for a single person, young couple with no kids or retirees this is a nice, affordable car.

Small but Sporty

Love that it is a petite SUV, perfectly fit for my little family. Great gas mileage, and plenty of neat features to play with. Definitely think I will fit better into compact spaces than I ever could my van!

I Love This Car

I have to admit, I wasn’t excited when I first saw this car, but once I test drove it, I knew it was the car for me! I love the trunk space and there is more room inside than it looks.

Great car and great gas mileage.

I love having a 5 door. I am a single person and its easy to access the back when you have your hands full. I also like having a sun roof.

By any measure, it falls short.

Currently driving my Father in laws Eco sport for the week while he has my car for a longer trip. The interior is extremely cramped. If you have small children, getting them in and out of the cramped back seat will always be a frustrating chore. I need to emphasize that, the backseat is so cramped, its uncomfortable for toddlers. Either of the engine options are frustratingly anemic, the transmission shifts are hard, and the brakes grab too hard at low speeds. Its surprisingly top heavy and feels unsteady cornering. The best way to describe this car is like finding out you only son wants to drop out of medical school to be a professional unicyclist, as in, profoundly disappointing and makes question the life decisions you've made to bring you to this point.

Love the EcoSport so far!

We have only had it for one day but we are happy with it so far! It met all of my husband’s needs for a new less expensive vehicle.

The WORST vehicle I have ever owned!

So I currently own a New Ecosport. What a disappointment, I will list all thin pro and mostly cons: Cons: 1. TERRIBLE on gas-avg 20.7 combined after 3,000 miles paying close attention to acceleration. 2. Own the SES-terrible rough ride with low profile tires that will need replacing from the smallest pot hole-replaced 2 thus far. 3. POOR acceleration, think my lawn mower is faster 4. VERY cheaply made-FORD FLUFF 5. FORD DOES ***NOT*** STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS! 6. Don’t get into an accident as I did-TOOK 6 MONTHS to repair -Ford admitted NOT having parts due to its a new body style-FRAUDULANT practice to sell a vehicle and not disclose this 7. This was my 12th FORD and my LAST!!! Pros: NONE! Can’t wait for my lease to be over!!!
