What more could you ask for!

The 2017 Edge SEL is a well engineered and well-manufactured vehicle that handles beautifully, has almost no road noise and has good acceleration (3.5 normally aspirated engine). The interior is well thought out and comfortable, for most people! I am a large person and I find the driver's seat is too soft and compresses too far and becomes very uncomfortable, like you're sitting on a metal bar - OK for anyone under 250 lb. it's fine. There are lots of electronic and voice command controls, which work well, but some of the manual controls can be distracting to use while driving. I am concerned with how snow, ice, and salt accumulate between the doors and body, it could be an issue with corrosion and freeze up. The SYNC 3 infotainment system is very intuitive and seems to know what you want and is so easy to use! The suspension eats up the bumps and delivers a very smooth and comfortable ride. There is almost no noticeable feel of the road through the steering wheel, maybe just a little more road feel would be better in my book. All in all the Edge is solidly built and is an exceptional vehicle and well worth the price tag if you want a 5 passenger SUV. Initially, I like the moonroof, but I'll reserve judgment until I see how well it stands up to time. I like the exterior styling, but that is subjective, so I'll leave it at this, I think it looks GREAT! The Edge is a pleasure to drive with a very relaxing ride, so you get where you're going fresh and alert. Enjoy the drive.

Excellent vehicle

I owned a Lexus and was apprehensive about the Ford Edge but after driving it , I was really pleased. Drives as good as the Lexus and comfortable with leg room and height. I am very pleased with my purchase of this vehicle.

Best Vehicle we have owned

The Edge SEL is very quiet, comfortable and better ride compared to other vehicles tested. Test drove both models with 3.5l and 2.0l ecoboost engines. Vehicle purchased is equipped with the 3.5l engine. The heated seats and steering are great in cold weather. Fuel economy seems to meet rated estimates. Equipped with tow package but have not tested. Currently at 15k miles. Also own a 2010 Honda Pilot. The Edge beats the Honda hands down for comfort and noise. Would consider purchasing another Ford.

Best Car I've Owned

I love my 2015 Ford Edge. I moved up to the roomier Edge after I found the Escape I bought previously to be a little too small. I'm happy I did. The Edge is way more car for the money, and my Edge's Ecoboost engine is just as efficient. In fact, I get better overall mpg from my Edge than I did from the smaller Escape. My Edge is roomy, comfortable, stylish and economical to drive. I love it. I will definitely be in the market for another Edge as soon as Ford makes an all-electric model, hopefully by 2020 or 2021.
