2019 Ford Edge consumer reviews

Happy so far (had less than a week)! Very smooth ride, quiet. Lots of neat features, will be an ongoing learning process for awhile! A little larger than my previous vehicles, feel pretty safe!

Fabulous SUV. Not too small, not too big... just the right size! Plenty of leg room both front and back. Great cargo space. Back seats fold flat with just the touch of a button. This model is fully loaded with all kinds of extras and surprises! Cup holders are located in easy to access places. Heated seats AND heated steering wheel make this perfect for our cold New England winters. Easy to open hatch just by passing your foot under the bumper. Easy to close with one touch of a button. Very easy to drive and very easy on the eyes!

I have only had this car for two weeks but am very satisfied with my experience so far. I previously rented a 2018 Edge and was impressed enough to seek out Imperial. I had experience with sales and service there when I bought an Explorer from them and had good service for eight years. I am looking forward for more of the same.

Had almost 1k miles on it, brand new, smoke came out of the hood, smelled like it was burning up. Ford had it towed. Waited 3 weeks for repairs, they returned it filthy dirty inside and out. Jerks big time when driving it, still smells like it is burning up after driving a few blocks. Seats and doors feel cheap. Do not like this car at all

Been wanting an Edge for years. Now that I have one, I’m in love with it. Anxious to see how the AWD handles in the snow.

Like adjustable steering wheel, easy use gate, and easy second row seats that lay down because I bought for transporting crafts to sell. Feel proud to own this car as it is quite pleasant on the eyes.

Was looking for something roomy and comfortable. It has that and a lot of great safety features. Love the Ford Pass. Enjoying our Ford Edge

This car fit all our needs and plenty of room inside. Comfortable for driving long distances. Plenty of trunk space for luggage or groceries. Back sit is comfortable to ride in.

Went from 2016 Edge Sport to 2019 Edge ST. More composed drive, quieter, sound system is better. Drive mode slightly different from Sport - when floor, turbo lag is pretty obvious but when you push steadily, turbo lag is very minimal . Probably can be attributed to new transmission setup. At the end you gain the same speed for the same time. Although take a little bit to get used to . Sport mode is great! Was initially scared of the start/stop feature. It is not noticeable at all! Maybe if you race from the traffic light... in that case use Sport mode which deactivates this feature. Not sure if totally black interior is better than light interior with black dashboard and seats... Well, it is so minor that I probably shouldn't mention that here. All in all I like this car a lot! Test drove Infinity QX50 before buying Ford, used to have Acura MDX, RDX. Didn't consider any of those. Edge has best combination of size, power, features and price (got nice discount on it).

I love my Edge! I rented one several years ago and wanted another. It drives really well, very comfortable and roomy and very little road noise.
