Great SUV

This is my second Escape & went from the 2010 XLT to the 2012 Limited Escape. The vehicle performs just as good as my last Escape, but with the added features of the Limited it make's this Escape much more pleasurable to drive. My only complaint would be, the car could be more quiet, road noise, and the gas mileage could be better.

My second escape

I loved my 2002 escape and swore that I would always have an escape. This second one is improved with the sync options. I love the increased gas mileage but it came at a price in performance, the car isn't as spunky as the inefficient one was. All in all, still a great car and I wouldn't want anything else.

Good SUV

I have had this for little over a month. The vehicle performs very well. I have a stick shift and I am getting about 30MPG average both city/hwy combined. The vehicle has performed well so far. The I4 engine has more pep than I had anticipated. The interior could have been designed little better. eg., the storage bin between the passenger seat and driver seat makes shifting the gear little awkward. The SUV is built high and getting in out is not as easy as my previous Saturn. Lots of electronics, eg., There is a lot of information about the performance of the vehicle displayed.

First new car

This car is a comfortable ride and gets about 26 mpg highway, with traffic. Without traffic it gets 28.2 mpg going 70 , which is pretty awesome for the size of vehicle. It fits four grown adults very comfortable, the only draw back is it lacks power when starting from a dead stop. But has plenty of power when passing. If you want a car that beat everyone off the blocks buy a mustang GT, those are awesome!

Nice Suv

This has been a pleasant surprise. It is very comfortable to drive. The sync system makes hand free driving simple. I wish it had rear disk brakes, the braking distances aren't the greatest. Handling is good with a little body roll. It cleans up well and is easy to clean. In town I avg like 20mpg on the highway I avg 30 mpg.

Fabulous

I highly recommend the 2012 Escape for anyone who likes fuel economy, comfort, great control when driving on ice and snow. This is my 3rd Escape in 10 years, I have put 150K miles on each one, and have never had any mechanical issues. I love my Escape!

2011 Ford Escape 3.0 FFV AWD

I bought my Escape in May 11. I was looking for AWD, Bluetooth, Sat Radio, Power everything, and good MPG. Also, I needed at least 200Hp and 200 torque. I have a boat and a motorcycle, that I need to tow. I looked at the Forester, Tiguan, Juke, and the Escape. One look at the specs on the Juke, and I knew it wasn't for me. I loved the handling of the Forester, but not the performance. To get the numbers I wanted, I had to go turbo. That's the same with the Tig and the Juke. Then, throw in the prem fuel. It gets expensive.. No standard Bluetooth in the Tig and the Forester. Although, I hear now you can get it in the Tig. Now, I will say the Forester has full-time AWD, which is very hard to come by. The Tig and the Escape both have either intelligent 4WD (Escape) ,or 4 Motion ( Tiguan). Both act basically the same, but good luck figuring it out on your own. I had to do a lot of research. The best I can explain is, it's AWD when the tires slip and not full-time. I could live with that. The Escape has a kick butt 3.0 FFV V6. I was a little nervous at getting a V6. But the MPG was better than the Tig and the Forester both with Turbo. I get 18-20 in the city, and 20-27 on the Hwy on regular gas. Now the E85 is different, I get 15-18 in the City and 18-21 on the Hwy. Not to bad, but not great either. When I pull my boat or bike, I have to look back to make sure it's back there... plenty of power. The radio w/ sat is awesome. I love the sync system. I bought a Escape XLT, with the fun and sun package. I didn't want the sunroof, but my little girl loves it.
