2016 Ford Escape consumer reviews

Fords have always been top of the line for me, and the Escape lives up to the name. Lots of leg room, lots of get up and go, smooth riding, comfort for the grandkids and plenty of storage space in the back.

The ride is soft enough even with low pro mounted 18' tires, the performance is best in class, but if you use it you won't get the EPA rating for fuel economy. The interior is nice but you can tell ford still cut corners on materials in some places. The prime example for me is the Sony branded sound system. It turns out the only Sony made parts out of the 9 speakers are the head unit, amp and subwoofer, all of the rest of the speakers are still made by ford. I only gave an average reliability rating is because nothing actually has broken, but the electronic features have acted up on multiple occasions, mainly the touch screen, bluetooth, and the power tailgate. Other than that everything has been fine, but I had to upgrade the standard tires because I felt I wasn't getting enough grip in the snow with the continental contiprocontact tires. I also found that it was hard finding better tires because the standard tire size matches the ford mustang.

The car is beautiful inside and out. Very smooth ride. Spacious interior. For my needs to transport my family with comfort. Lots of cargo room.

I love my Ford Escape! A very comfortable and reliable ride. I feel safe driving in any condition even on these Alberta roads. Im very confident in this decision.

Just got this car, but am super impressed! Smooth ride, great gas mileage and it’s just a great vehicle so far! Plenary of space for passengers in front and back and great storage space in the back.

I absolutely love my SUV! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I was told years ago to get one by a friend, now I know why.

This car was a mistake! The interior layout was the worst!! Reliability was OK except for having the transmission reprogrammed every oil change. Inteior noise was bad and had lot's of wind noise.

I love the car alot but i wish it had navigation. Beautiful outer color and interior is in great condition. Great pick up to get onto highways.

Very good gas mileage in town and highway. Plenty of room and comfort. Good traction in snow and on ice. Drives smooth. Plenty of storage space. Great back up camera when reversing.

It has everything I need and more! It’s sleek and stylish while providing ample room for me and my family. I love my Ford Escape.
