Nice Ride with lots of features and benefits

Meets all of my needs and some that I didn't know I had (high tech future-proof). I bought the platinum version so it has all of the bells and whistles you could ask for. So far I am very impressed with it.

I like it

I will start with some of the negative. The Sync 3. There are no hard buttons to switch between functions on the Sony system. The old layout on my 8 year old Mustang was so much more logical and easy to use. This one is not really intuitive, and there are no hard buttons so you always have to look at the screen and are constantly having to back out of menus two or three times to get back to the home screen just to switch functions when driving. I find myself looking at the screen instead of the traffic. That said, I can't believe how quiet this car is. It's like a vault. I drive in LA traffic and this thing makes no noise. The 2.0L has plenty of power and you can't hear it unless you floor it. It's very comfortable to sit in. This is the first SUV I have ever owned and will admit it's kind of dorky, but I needed a practical car to carry stuff in, as well as sit in traffic in. I like to drive it so far. Mine is Titanium and I like the options, but....Some of the "nanny" features are annoying. You can't totally turn them off. The lane departure, proximity and forward "collision" sensors make a lot of noise in every day traffic and parking situations, as well as mute your audio and pop up on the screens. It's annoying but unfortunately I think that is common in modern cars. You can't disable auto stop/start so you have to press the button every time you start the car up to turn it off. It won't even let you change the seat memory position when driving, or let you enter an address into the Nav, while moving, but yet you have to fumble thru multiple menus to change the radio staiton. Over all I like how this car drives in every day traffic after 1000 miles in it, but give us a choice to disable big brother when driving it. Car is comfortable, super quiet and very good ride quality. Mileage is acceptable right now but engine isn't really broken in yet. I've gone over every inch of this car and build quality is very nice.

Awesome vehicle

This has to be the best vehicle ever. It's beautiful, classy, sporty, best all-around. Definitely a must-have. I have some friends that also have this vehicle and they are just as impressed as I am.

Great Vehicle but not fuel efficient

Let me first say that i love this vehicle. It has power and comfort and with the 4X4 for our winters it is excellent. The only problem is that there is no fuel efficiency for city driving and its not a V8. But it is a SUV so that is okay i just thought with the fuel eco boost it would be better. I also wish that there was a button you could use for the eco drive.

Back to a Ford, and happy!!

Been a Ford gal all my life, but went to a Volvo for a couple of years. Traded it for a 2017 Escape and very excited about the new car. Rides great! Feel safer. Very responsive, great pick up speed! Love this vehicle!! And, I still have a convertible (sort of)!! Lol!! Retractable roof!

Best car I've owned for the value.

I purchased the vehicle on New Year's Eve and got a awesome deal! The dealership agreed to all my terms and I extremely satisfied. I never knew shopping for a vehicle online would result in such positive results. Friends were amazed when I told them about my purchase and interested in shopping online for future purchases.

Very comfortable and updated vehicle but a little

A really good quiet ride for a car this size. Plenty of power and current technology is all over this car. Safety features are a definite plus for this vehicle.

So far so good

Have had my 2017 Escape for about a month, it is loaded with tech and I am pleasantly surprised. The gas mileage is a little less than I expected 23 mpg but the vehicle is AWD and I hope will get better after break in period, overall, I am extremely satisfied as the ride is very quiet and smooth.
