2017 Ford Escape consumer reviews

Turbo engine is good , price and performance is very even , right touch of materials, seats ok, controls good,

Have had our 2017 for three weeks - AND - we love it!!!!! We chose the BASE model (absolutely ZERO extras) needing only in town transportation - with all the year end rebates we paid $20k (plus tax, title - but - NO dealer adds) Total ganga......

I have been to a ford dealer to see the ford escape. I have been for a test drive, I like the ride, and plus the auto is wonderful and fabulous. The ford escape is a beautiful auto. I especially like to colors of the paint jobs.

This car is beautiful and has a ton of technology. As a former 2004 Civic driver that had no technology, I am in heaven now. Nice smooth ride, convenient dash, everything is displayed prominently.

Looks too much like a CUV for guy who really liked his 2 previous SUV Escapes. It has too much digital gadgetry to keep track of. On the positive side it runs good, the ride is smooth, it has plenty of power and I will probably like the 4 wheel drive when I take to the mountains skiing.

I needed an AWD vehicle to make it to work in bad weather. I also needed a car with blind spot detectors and rear camera. I only have 1 eye so safery is a priority. I wanted gps because I have no sense of direction. The only thing I don't like is the car "powers down" if you are stopped more than 20 seconds, then powers back up when you remove foot from brakes. That is supposed to save gas but I hate this feature. It feels like the car is dying. Fortunately you never lose the a/c during this. You can turn this feature off when the car is in park. Overall I love the car.

It has everything I was looking for with a price I can afford. I'm very happy with my decision. The extra features are amazing. I was so impressed with the Ford pass app. I was able to lock my cellphone while lying in bed! I also love that I can open my escape's liftgate by simply putting my foot under the back bumper. The convenience featured are definitely going to make my life much easier.

The car is beautiful. It drives nice. And fits all our needs. It's a comfortable car and fun to drive. We made a little trip over the weekend, and it was fun. We feel safe in it. And it's easy to get in and out of. This is our third Escape and we highly recommend one. It has lots of room.

As we get older ..... we feel we need a larger vehicle to get in & out, room to pack our groceries, go on vacation in comfort in a vehicle that feels safer, has plenty of outlets for our smartphones, laptops, tablets and other toys. The Escape looks good, drives good, sounds good and comes from a good dealer :-)

This was our first car in twelve years. Lots of new electronics to learn. The only thing I was surprise at was the gas mileage was a little low.Seems to be a little understated. I know this is a EPA rating but I would like a little higher.Right now it seem to be about 24 mpg whether your going 40 or 65 Mph. I have a Se Eco- Boost I.5 L and it performs excellent. The ride was good( I had a Grand Marquis before)so its hard to compare. Overall I think this car will serve us well being that we are both retired.
