1995 Ford F-150 consumer reviews

My 95 F150 xlt 4x4 straight 300 6 cylinder has 350,000 miles on original engine, tranny, transfer case rearend all running gear. I bought in 2009 wuth 121, 000 on her well taken care of. Only oil leak it had was a tiny drip just need an oring on the oil pan plug. I"ve had to put both fuel pumps, a distribitor and a couple clutches. But the engine and running gear are still tight as xxxx. She doesnt smoke and she will blow the doors off new trucks. I havent maintained her the best and shes had some hard miles and hauled some heavier then she should handle loads. You cant beat hands down the 300 straight six is the best engine ever built. Its referred 5o by different names but it is or was what was known as the industrial straight 6 for a good reason. As a 4x4 she cant be beat either. Ove owned 7 different years and the 95 is one of the best 77 and 79 were good years to as long as they were same engine and top loader manual trannys.

I have a blue one with a topper on the back, it is very reliable, it is rather rusty but I got it used, the engine is a little weak but I think that it is because it needs a new fuel filter. I think it costs around 150-240$ to fill both tanks from empty, but it gets very good range and I have to fill it about every 4-8 weeks.

The 'purple" one pictured is not a flareside, didn't anyone else notice this? Ours is a great little shortbed 4WD, had it since 2006 (we are the 2nd owner), will hate to see it go when that time comes.

I’ve had my 95 ford since the year it came out and I have used it everyday since I live in Canada and when it snows this truck has no problem going threw it only thing I don’t like about it is the plastic door handles on the inside I’ve been threw 20 door handles tho if I where to get metal ones this truck would be 10/10

the thing ran on 7 cylinders shifted like a brick but whet it always stared and ran and took me from A to B it is a good old truck

Ive had my 1995 2wd f150 for 22 yrs. 240,000 miles i had to replace trans. It pulled heavy boats and trailers no problem. I love the 302 5.0 engine. Better than the triton 4.6 i had on 1998 f150. Replaced alt and waterpumps thru the years but all in all its been great and worked it hard. Great truck

I bought this truck new and still own it . 115000 miles later it is in excellent condition,garage kept and turned a classic antique this year. Best truck ever!

I like the truck,like its looks,body style,interior,power,but it does like gas,has a 5.8,automatic,,but I drive it all I can afford to,truck also has the towing package

I’ve owned six ford trucks! 85 250 (300cid), 88 250(351w), 95 150 (302w)(current), 96 explorer(302w), and two 01 150(4.2&5.4)! all had well over 250,000 miles with minimal work besides routine maintenance! the only two I had problems with were the 4.2 & 5.4 which never made it to 200,000...but I couldn’t be more happy with any of my purchases! if you’re in the market I’d go with ford all the way!!! anything 96 and older really! I would never buy anything other than a ford! I used them from everything from working to daily driving to woods beaters and they never left me stranded!

I got 214 thousand and sumthin miles and i never done any major repairs. I changed my oil when needed. I do my raditor and transmission flushes when needed. I changed my spark plugs every 75000 miles..i basically keep maintence up on my truck. Ill never buy or drive nuthin but a ford product.
