Fun recreational and versatile work performance!!

This truck met all my needs, for recreation and for getting things done!! I purchased this truck used and It's been the most enjoyable vehicle I've owned.. I never saw my self as a truck kind of gal.. I do enjoy the confidence and comfort I get out of driving it around :)

It is a work horse!

I like it has a strong motor. It will pull anything which a truck should do. The inside is sleek with the leather. Good truck if you take care of it.

most reliable car I've ever owned

This car took me all over the South. Great, reliable truck, never let me down. It was my 1st truck. It will be hard to let it go, but time has come.

Engine is terrible

When I bought it used I had to have the entire engine replaced with in the first month. Then I had the same issues 5 years later after only 30k miles.

I love my Ford pickup

I love this truck so much When I was in the market for a new truck I kept it. it will no longer be my daily driver but it will still get used plenty. just make sure that you do your research for the known "issues" that this model was know to have (IE: spark plugs, 4wd soleniod etc.) if the issues have been addressed then worry not!

My time as a "Ford Man"

Disclaimer: I grew up a "Chevy Man." I picked up a two-year-old 2005 F-150 at a very (very) good price and really can't complain about the ten years I owned it. It has enduring good looks, I'll say that. However... The 4.6 V-8 is not much for towing, in my opinion. I also had issues at the end with it spitting out a spark plug -- stripped the threads on the aluminum head. Fix was easy (a "real" mechanic did all the work on it, not me) but it did it two more times. And, then there was the transmission I replaced at 60,000 miles due to a cracked case. I never babied the thing, but I most certainly didn't beat it, either. It had an easier than average life for a half-ton pickup. Everything else was about what you'd expect over the course of a decade and 100,000 miles of driving. But yesterday traded it for a Silverado. Enough said?

Have owned this truck since new. It's been great!

It's been a great pickup! Reliable, useful, nicely appointed, loaded, V8, XLT. Currently with 68K miles and never had any problems. Will probably last the remainder of my time.

Great looking and strong running vehicle!

I love owning and driving this vehicle! It has all the power to pull my boat to the lake and looks like a beast driving down the road. Low maintenance with regular oil changes.
