2008 Ford F-150 consumer reviews

I have a 2008 F-150 STX this vehicle should be recalled very dangerous vehicle it literally shoots the spark plug out of their heads stripping the threats and loses power. While driving in heavy traffic 3 Lane I was in the center lane when this happened lost power had all I could do to keep from being hit behind while trying to get off the highway vehicles in the right-hand Lane we're going by so fast not allowing me to get out of the way almost colliding forced my way to the nearest exit off the exit pulled over. I could see where it could have been even more deadly are there different heavy traffic circumstances why there's no recall I don't understand. Ford is well aware of this problem where they make tools so that you can rethread the whole put a helicoil in and then replace the spark plug and if you're lucky you won't have to replace the coil because when the spark plugs normally go they take the coil out with it. The manufacturer again like I said well aware this you can buy the Tulip several different types of auto parts stores. It's nice of them to at least put the tool out there for those who are still alive from this occurring. But if I would have known this prior to buying this Ford truck I would have never bought it thank God I didn't have any children with me that day and thank God some people were paying attention even though I cut them off and almost caused them an accident managed to get it off the road safely. How many other people have had this happen from what I hear a lot how many have died from this Curious to know or is that a big secret. I truly believe this needs to be investigated. Very unhappy consumer.

This truck is nothing short of great. I haven't run into any problems with this vehicle over the past 3 years. The exterior design is in great condition. The interior is very comfortable and spacious. With the added tow mirrors and back up camera, every spot on the road is visible which makes the vehicle very safe. I would never want to sell the truck, unfortunately I am down sizing for college as trucks are not a great mode of transportation in a city.

I purchased my pickup brand new in 08 with only 10 miles on the odometer and at 11 years old I'm still in love with my truck, so far she has 80K miles on her and I've not had any majors issues with her, besides the regular maintenance the only "issue" I had was a strange bumping feeling I would experience at take off from a dead stop, after looking online and asking fellow F150 owners in groups I'm in, I found out the problem was the factory grease in the yoke slip in the differential had dried out due to a bad grease Ford had used in this model. I lubed it up with a good brand of marine based waterproof grease and got my truck back to like new condition.

Truck was lifted when I purchased. They balanced the tires, and got it aligned prior to me taking ownership. Fresh oil change as well. Have owned for over a year, and have not had a single problem since purchasing.

The 2008 f150 crewcab is versatile and ready to tow and haul. I also think it's stylish, especially out here in the west. It's also super reliable and can be worked on at home.

Is just what I needed for my work which is perfect. This 11 year old car is in good shape in and out and the box had already a liner.

I needed a truck to haul my motorcycle; the Ford F-150 was the perfect choice for me. It is comfortable enough to use as a commuter, but also has the ability to haul. It is also comfortable and spacious enough for the family to ride in.

Never had any problems and have always taken care of scheduled maintenance. Vehicle is in great condition. Tires are in good condition. No Rust, Interior in good shape.

Awesome Truck with lots of power. Sounds amazing at low and high RPM. Very pleased with this truck when I test drive it so I bought it.
