Very quiet,refined and great road manners. love the stability control and trailer sway control...Ford hits a homerun again. First 4wd vehicle and love it.

Ive put 22k miles on my baby now, and what can I say that hasnt already been said? I put every conceivable option on this truck that Ford makes except 4x4, and picked a the higher axle ratio for fuel economy since I dont tow anything very heavy, despite having the upgraded suspension and tow package. Over 600 mile range with the oversize fuel tank, power to pull my boat up steep inclines and pass other cars, luxury all over the place, can valet it with pride, have gone places I would only use a 4x4 for and no problems. I did give it one slight ding for features because despite having tilt steering, it doesnt telescope even though the pedals do. Kinda a pain for those of us with long legs cause pedals only go back so far, then I need a telescoping steering wheel.

My first truck and I love it! I had always driven cars. It is great in the snow, there is plenty of storage capacity......love it and they hold their value fairly well.

Pros: Smooth Ride, Quiet Interior, Infotainment Systems, Build Quality, Fit & Finish, Reliability, Fuel Efficiency Cons: Steering Feel, Brake Feel, Interior Ergonomics, Engine Performance (compared to competition of similar displacement)

I have a 2009 F-150 crew cab, lariat edition. What an awsome truck. It's as quiet and rides as smoothly as a Lexus. I'd recommend this trukd to anyone.

I've had this truck for 5 months now and haven't regretted one bit about buying one. I have driven FORD trucks for almost 30 years now, outside of a lapse in judgement 2 years ago with the purchase of a RAM 1500. Doesn't matter whether I'm pulling my 20" flatbed trailer with mowers or my 6500 lb pulling tractor, this truck has it. My previous FORD's had the 4.6 and 3.55 axle ratio, but this one has the 5.4 and 3.55 ratio. It does everything I need a truck to do and more. The supercrew cab is great with plenty of room to haul 6 adults with plenty of room. I expect to keep this truck a long time.

I OWN A F-150 EXT CAB THAT I BOUGHT IN APRIL WHEN THE WEATHER WAS WARM, IN LATE NOV I NOTICED MY LEFT FOOT WOULD START GETTING VERY COLD IN COLD WEATHER EVEN THOUGH THE FLOOR HEAT WAS ON. I THOUGHT THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE HEAT IN MY TRUCK SO I ASKED THE DEALER AND HE TOLD ME THAT IS JUST HOW THE TRUCK HEATS AT THE FLOOR. ALL THE HEAT ON THE FLOOR BLOWS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AND JUST TRICKLERS OUT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE THIS DOESN'T MAKE MUCH SENSE TO ME. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO NEED WARM BOOTS EVERY TIME I DROVE MY TRUCK IN THE WINTER.

SEARCHED DIFFERENT TRUCKS FOR MONTHS..FROM CHEVY, DODGE,TOYOTA,NISSAN, NONE COULD COMPARE TO THE STYLE, EXTRAS AND REBATES THE F150 OFFERED..ALL OTHER TRUCKS HAD NOISY CABIN AND NOT ENOUGH ROOM IN THEIR EXTENDED CAB TRIM..FORDS F 150 STX IS GREAT LOVE THE TRUCK..FUEL ECONOMY IS GREAT..LOVE MY TRUCK WOULD RECOMMEND FOR ANYBODY LOOKING FOR A NEW TRUCK!

We drive a Lexus 460 and a Corvette C6. Have not had a Ford for over 40 years. Boy am I impressed. Fit,finsh,features, and drive in my 09 Plantinum are outstanding. Was comparing this truck with Toyota Tundra and there is just no comparison. With all the end of the rebates we got a great deal and truck.

Fit and fish very nice. Had some initial issues with the tranny, but since the software upgrade all is well. Love the truck. the only other complaint I have is the stock sound system. Interior is very comfortable.
