2016 F150

Purchased this truck at Colonial Ford in Plymouth Mass. Was meet by Bill Oneil. Already knew what I was looking for. It was finally nice to walk into a dealership and not be swarmed and pressured. Bill and his team treated me with the up most respect. Great truck love the gas mileage and power of this Eco Boost.

Best new truck on the market

I have drove all of the competitors of the new f-150 and it by far won my approval. The interior had a sleeker look and larger cabin than dodge or gm offers. Under the hood is the 3.7 L ecoboost that provides me with plenty of power and fun. When it comes to the exterior I can understand owning a gm product but until you sit in both you can't buy a gm truck.

No regrets!!

I have never owned a Ford before, and I am not regretting leasing this one. I worked with Beth B. at Sandy Suburban Ford, and she set me up with an awesome Red F-150 supercrew with ecoboost. I was reluctant at first to get into a Ford, no real reason, but I'm not mad about the choice. So far this truck has been exceptional. I am very impressed with the overall comfort and the style of the truck in general. The ecoboost feature has taken some getting used to.

Buyer beware

Built Ford Tough? Research water leak before buying Purchased my first Ford (F150 Limited) less than 6 months ago (9500 miles). Took it in for service about 3 weeks ago for what I thought to be a simple issue (heated seats did not work) Three weeks later truck is still in the shop (with no end in sight) all interior components have been removed (twice), including the dash board. Apparently, some kind of defective weld that allowed water (standing water 1 inch deep) to get into the vehicle and destroy all of the electronics. In addition, while this issue was being worked, the shop discovered the rear window also had a leak and truck had to be broken down again. My patience finally ran out and I sought support from Ford customer service. Very well trained individuals on the other end - with every statement they made being followed by a legal disclaimer of any responsibility and that no assurance can be given as to the ultimate outcome of this matter. I respect and appreciate the men and women at Ford building these vehicles but what is frustrating is the lack of owning up to the issue and taking responsibility. From time to time bad things happen (I get that) but I would expect that Ford would stand behind their brand and product and accept responsibility and make things right, quickly. My last discussion with Ford Customer Service was we will get back to you in 10 days of course that was followed by the legal disclaimers no assurance ? blah blah blah.

Outta here...

Bought my f10 regular cab 2 wheel drive truck on appearannce. After a couple of days of ownership I I was reminded of the saying"you can't tell a book by its cover." Had it about six months.... a little list of deficiencies- dash lights got brighter when I went through a puddle, using key fob-wouldn't lock/unlock doors, horn wouldn't work, radio wouldn't work, when lowering the windows they would stop half way down, then return to the up position and visa versa, center arm rest very hard to lower, side view mirror casing kept coming off at the car wash, headlight adjusting screw was stripped-replaced entire headlight unit, shifted weird sometimes, with a minimal amount of snow the windshield washer sprayers wouldn't work-holes too small-froze easily, bed floor had goles between the floor and sides, could not adjust the dash lights during dark hours- they adjusted themselves to a certain point whether it was satisfactory or not for the driver's vision, the way you select heat and where it will be distributed is odd and the controls are too close to other controls making it hpdifcicult to make adjustments. The bed being aluminum make a lot of bounce when going over bumps..... but...... it sure looked nice, race red and all.

Whoops!

Totally overpriced. This "$50,000" truck is worth about 1/2 that. The tech (Sync) is about 5-10 years old. Also, the Sync system is only a big display for your cell phone (if you have the right cell phone, and the right apps, and the right version of Sync.) No Navigation or anything else useful. Every time you get in the truck, you have to re"Sync" (lol) your phone to the truck, even if you've only been gone a minute. Downshifts constantly. Do not try to drive in an urban environment. If you buy this thing new, parts will fall off for a few weeks. I would recommend gathering all the parts that fall off in a box, and delivering them to you local dealer, and let them try to figure out where the parts go. If anything is on the floor of the cab, it will fall out when you open any door. Sync cannot be turned off at all, but simultaneously provides no benefit whatsoever. I guess you can just wait for the screen to burn out. Can't see/decipher many of the internal controls. Maybe it's Ford secret code or something. Trying to find out what controls do (or don't do) is a super fun way to spend time. This is even before the engine and transmission start failing...uh oh.

Fustrated with our Ford F-150/ safety problem?

We purchased our 2016 F-150 XL and found that the rear doors only latch securely if you grab the door handle itself and forcefully slam the doors. If you attempt to use the door panel like you would carrying items in your hand the doors only latch half way. We saw this at point of sale but were told just to make a service appt and they would deal with it for us. Well... numerous service appointments later to include having a Ford Engineer look at the problem they feel it is due to the double weather stripping that Ford installed. They found that about 1/3 of the trucks on AutoNations of Sanford fL sales lot had same problem. So beware of this problem because after 7 months of dealing with this we received a call from a very condescending Ford Corporate Representative that told us there is nothing wrong with the truck. Just because the doors do not close the way we would like does not mean it is a defect. This is after the dealership and Ford Engineer agreed that it was a problem. I am sure this will be their stand until possible bodily harm results from it.....never buying another Ford!

Former Silverado owner happy with Ford F150

My 2016 Ford F-150 XLT Crew cab is everything I want in a truck. I use it mainly for work, and it performs very nicely. The Eco boost engine offers plenty of power and is also great on gas. After 18,000 miles of mainly driving in the city, I am averaging 20.3 MPG. The interior is very spacious and roomy, especially in the rear cab. The F-150 is also very versatile. It handles very well in the snow, and it is often my wife's vehicle of choice due to the stylish interior and heated front seats. In conclusion, I owned 2 Silverados since 2005. I did not realize what I was missing until I made the change to Ford. I love the F150 and I am very glad I made the change!

ford f150 fx4 off road crew cab

I haven't put enough miles on the truck to really judge my like 0r any real dislikes...............only 150 miles in 4 weeks. I've own 5 various ford trucks in the past, and drove ford f150 standerd cab pickups for over 25 years. Have had good luck with them , they were regularly maintained.
