Most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.

I just wish it had better cup holders. Other than that I love Ford, don't have to worry about chevy death wobbles or dodges paint flaking.

Work horse!

This truck has been a great investment for us. Well taken care of, body straight, no rust. Would be great for a ranch or farm family with kids! Rear seat is like your favorite sofa! Lots of room, and a reliable truck. Must see!

This pickup is a workhorse. Excellent shape!

This pickup is a great find. Selling simply because we rarely drive it anymore. 6 speed manual transmission. 7.3 diesel. (rare find!) Used when I owned fencing company, and it never let me down. Would be an excellent ranch truck. Body straight, no rust, garaged 90% of the time. Some wear/tear as expected with age of truck. Just a great all around truck, in superior shape.

the 7.3L years are a solid platform

Have owned "The Redhead" for over a decade. She's been very predictable. The IH engine truly is stout. The auto tranny's are the weaklink. 140-175K is the expected (and personally experienced) life span. Interior was quite comfy for a 6Ft + guy but, the extended cab is only good for younger kids under the age of 12 for long road trips. Thats why I upgraded to the full crew cab as our kiddos are 10+y/o now. The lifespan of this girl is easily 500K+ given she's now at 361K and not showing any signs of giving up. I've seen many of these pull off 750K- 1M miles and still rolling along. Dependable. Yes. Never accuse these trucks of being speed demons, the governor keeps them alive. have used her to pull commercially and personally, 5th wheel & Goosenecks. a few oddities: they would make electric drivers seat but, not give passenger at same time, fuel tank has smaller neck first couple years, and the screws to remove the tail light assemblies to replace the bulbs are located at odd angle.

F 350 Let me down too many times.

I pre ordered this 99 F350 4x4 truck from the Ford factory in Louisville. Waiting patiently for 4 months, it finally arrived, It was he best looking truck in our town and I am sure it triggered many more sales. I pampered this truck for years with maintenance and actually stored it in the wintertime for the first 5 years.I expected it to last 20 years or more. Mainly highway driving to work sites, I loved the power and the 6 speed standard transmission made is fun and practical to drive. I added $5000.00 for cosmetic extras like custom bumpers, spray liner, canopy etc. It looked really good and a flawless history of no abuse, no accidents. The transfer case gave out unexpectedly on the highway at 110,000 km (not miles). Had it replaced with a rebuilt for $2000.00. I discovered engine oil in the coolant reservoir at 190,000km. Diagnosed at the local Ford garage to be injector O ring failure. Another $4000.00 to replace them all. My love for that truck started to fade. Like a divorce, there was a logical reason to carry on. I sold it at privately at 230,000 km and 12 years old. The body was immaculate. I simply couldn't take a chance on the next major repair. Bottom line..I will never buy another Ford, ever.
