Been A Good Car
Got the wagon version the day after my beloved Honda Civic was totalled in an accident by a minivan. Got it on a friend's recommendation, had to have a car immediately so I didn't spend more than a day checking out whatever I could. The field of possibilities was dramatically reduced to just two, as all the rest couldn't be bothered to even speak to me or answer a question. (Yes, I am female.) Other than expected maintenence, the only PROBLEM(s) has been power window mechanisims which have broken (twice). MINOR COMPLAINT: seats not adjustable for a small person- My head never falls in the headrest's (fixed) position. OVERALL RECOMENDATION: I drive it hard, it handles well and I have a great mechanic who watches out for it's welfare. Car has been good for me.

Excellent Value and Great Styling
I've owned 2 other cars before I bought the Focus and I absolutely love this car! I currently have a 2000 model and am about to buy a 2006. It's totally comfortable to drive; I've even driven across the state in mine and it was great. I've had almost no problems with it, with regular maintenance, and the only one I did was covered under warranty. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for a great value with some great options!

Lemon?
At a mere 3 months of age, the car made some odd noises, and soon died completely in an intersection. Roadside assistance came in handy, though I surely didn't expect to need it for a brand new car! Two months in the shop and a new motor later, it still makes questionable noises. I took it for a 500 km trip yesterday, and just to make life interesting, one tire mysteriously deflated almost to empty, then was fine after. Dealer thus far refuses to replace vehicle. Another long trip coming up shortly. Really wonder if it's going to make it or not.

broken cinderella
I purchased my 2006 focus zx4 sedan and was hit by another vehicle withing hours of the deal. I was surprised at the agility of handling I had during the crash but the side impact was terrible. there was severe damage to the entire side of my focus while the other vehicle reamaind virtually unscathed. I was not hurt by the crash, but was not traveling at a high rate of speed either. I felt that after the way the accident happened, I would still keep my little focus, because of how well it handled, and the great gas mileage it gets. not to mention how cute it is.

Ford Focus! What a Car!
I have driven this car for the past five plus years. I can't say enough about how dependable this vehicle is. I have had to do nothing more than routine maintenance and it's great!! I love the plush seats and the look of the dashboard. And based on the fact that it does not have power windows and locks, I still enjoy the luxury of adjusting my mirrors without sticking my hand out of the window. Have I mentioned how great this car looks on me? Although, I love my car, it could use improvement in the amount of leg room provided on the passenger side front seat, sometimes I bump my knees on the dash. In addition, the drive pedal is uncomfortably high and too centered. Oh, and the seat belt is not easy to grab. But these are all minute in the big scheme of things. The point is, I can still drive the car and it's already paid for. That's got to be a record!
