I think it's a great commuter vehicle. If you're looking to save gas and have low maintenance this in the car for you.

There was a clutch issue/recall. Most major recall I have ever had to deal with on any type of vehicle I have ever owned.

It's a four-cylinder sedan with an automatic transmission, but for what it is the Focus is a nimble little car. Plenty of room, good gas mileage, nice interior. This will never be the most exciting car anyone owns but for daily driving, the Focus does everything you'd want it to.

We absolutely love it! So spacious and luxurious! Such a nice vehicle! Friendly service as well! We would highly recommend!

I owned this car to commute to work. Fuel economic and comfortable! I got almost 36 miles per gallon consistently through summer and about 33 in winter.

Nice styling and very good gas mileage. Excellent first time car for my teenager. I would recommend to others.

I've had it 8 weeks and already had to take it to Ford Dealer and had to get towed there this morning. Their is a recall on it with the transmission. Call your Ford dealer and give them your vin #. I got lucky a random guy asked me if my car shudders. That's how I found out there was a recall. You'd think the car dealer would check is before they sell it but I learned the hard way.

It's good car I love color in sade and autsade. For 2012 have lower mailer only 45 Thousen and it's good on his.

Overall I think the 2012 Ford Focus is a great buy. The car has a beautiful, sporty exterior design that gives it a more premium look. The car handles turns and corners like a more expensive German sedan. Interior quality is great, not the best overall design with the giant cluster of buttons, but the materials used make you feel like you're in a more expensive vehicle. The car has little kinks at around 80,000 miles, such as, interior noises like plastics creaking or tapping, therefore it is not the most solid car. The car is very reliable, and gets you where you need to go. The horn has already stopped working making the possibility for future electrical problems more open. Other than the few easily repairable problems I have mentioned, this vehicle is defiantly worth the purchase if you can find one in good condition.

I purchased this vehicle not knowing any better about the infamous faulty "automatic selectshift" transmissions that are in these vehicles. Honestly, I love the car. Has excellent pick-up, rides very comfortably on the highway and gets excellent gas mileage. The transmission on the other hand is one of the main reasons why I'm considering trading this car in. It is based on a European design of a dual-clutch transmission. Which basically means that this car has a manual transmission that is automatically controlled by a computer. Almost every day the car jutters when you pull away from a stop light or come out of a parking lot. These cars DO NOT like mountainous roads, they are terrible in this sense. Overall, a decent car but you basically re-learn how to drive a car with the way the transmissions are set up. Ford, PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM! 2018 MODELS AND UP NEED TO COME WITH AT LEAST A CVT!!!
