2013 Ford Focus consumer reviews

I'm having issues nonstop with transmission and power steering! I've only owned the vehicle for about 6 months and have not been able to use it ! I'm constantly having the ford house fixing transmission recalls one step at a time. Been serviced 3 times in the past two months! Ridiculous! Not a Trustworthy vehicle for transporting my family!

I love this car. The gas milage is great and the overall drive of the car is wonderful. On average I get about 37.8 miles to the gallon driving around town and 43 on the highway. This is the best car I've ever owned. The design features inside and outside of the car are very appealing. It's safe, reliable, and gets me where I need to go.

I bought this car after my 2007 Focus was totaled in a wreck. My dad was insistent that I purchase a Honda because that's his favorite and he knows how to fix them. The rest of my family has Ford. I ended up getting a Focus because it's in my price range and had the bluetooth requirements my dad mandated in a new car since at the time I was working in one city and going to school/living in another. He wanted to make sure if I needed to make a phone call on the drive I could do it hands free and it also allowed for my to run my bluetooth through the speakers to avoid having to purchase a car with navigation. It's not massive or over the top expensive. It's been a great car in my young adult life.

PROS: NICE CAR, GOOD DESIGN, GAS EFFICIENT. CONS: THE SPACE IN THE FRONT SEATS IS LIMITED, MODEL CHANGE ALMOST EVERY TWO YEARS.

Only two words Bad Transmissions. I've always bought Fords. My mustang gt has been a great car. Ford has a lot of issues with the Focus transmissions wish i had got the manual trans.

Ford knows they have a problem, but good luck getting it fixed! Do NOT buy this model and year, you will never have a properly working transmission.

Overall I like my 2013 focus. BUT I however don't like that I've had my car into ford 4 time now for transmission issues. Bought in August 2013 and I've had four clutches replaced in my AUTOMATIC. My car has 48,000 km on it. There is no way this should be happen Do not buy a 2013 Ford Focus unless you want issues

Very spacious for me and my child. Nice color and amenities.'my only concern is the vibrating jerk it does when I drive off from somewhere. I took it to shabana motors mechanic and they say it's no big deal.

The front end design makes handing on highway curves is easy at 68 mph. Excellent gas mileage. Leather interior is easy to clean.

When I bought this car it seemed like a good deal. It got incredible gas mileage and that was what I was needing at the time. Now I have had it for about 2 years and it has had a lot of problems. I cannot say whether part of it was user error. If so my bad. But Ford released a recall on it about 3 months after i purchased the car. The recall was for a transmission reprogramming error. It said only to get it fixed if i noticed problems. I felt the problems alright. The transmission acts like it is a racecar. It shifts unneccesarily and at the wrong times. Acceleration was sometimes a problem. My gas mileage also suffered because of it. But if you want a car that gets good gas mileage most of the time when it does not have any issues and doesn't need something fixed then this is the car for you.
