Off to a good start.
Great fuel mileage and love the fact that I was able to get a manual transmission. Comfortable and fun to drive. Thinking of intake, exhaust, LED lights to make it truly my car.

This car has been reliable for the almost year I've owned it. Defiantly got a good price on it. I fell in love with it right when I layed eyes on it.

Pleasantly surprised
I originally bought this strictly as a commuter car. The reasons being its great economy, overall reliability, and amount of options that came with it. I am please to say that I am surprised with its overall quality. The chassis is strong, it handles tightly, its motor is peppy, and it is surprisingly fun to drive. The downsides that I have found so far are not major dealbreakers, but still worth noting. The idle is surprisingly rough for a modern 4 cylinder motor. The throttle response is noticeably delayed by about 3 seconds, on or off the pedal, which could cause a serious accident if not aware of this. Also if you do not have the Sony stereo, the radio layout is (in my opinion) not appealing in the least. All these thing taken into consideration and I'm very happy with this "hot hatch" and its won me over. I would even say its a great daily driver for people just wanting a fun, comfortable, and affordable car.

Great daily driver.
This car is my daily driver now nearing 80000 miles from new purchase in 2013. I've had a great experience with this car and gas mileage is excellent. Sticker says 38mpg highway and I consistently get 40, that's pretty hard to beat. The model I own is the titanium model and has many great features, navigation is very helpful and the heated leather comfortable. Quality has been great and has spent zero time in the shop to this point. Highly recommend

Ford redesigned focus failed
Got used at 30k, from type S. Immediately noticed driver seat uncomfortable for driver on long or short rides, short racing seats i was told. Cloth seats originally looked good, but any water left station marks. No bluetooth, no cruise control, front windows power, back manual, 100% rear seat fold. Looked great, however was uncomfortable to driver. Driver's rear passenger often felt cramped to get in. Fuel economy declined after air filter replaced. Center console not built for driver use - no storage cubby, power charged plug in front of drinks which often struck and unplugged charger, storage space between front seats more towards rear seat passengers, and six ford plug in rear seat area (needed for after market bluetooth device). Trunk space smaller than previous model years. Body size larger than previous model years. Replaced transmission module and clutch at 70k. Traded in for no value on newer car of other brand, got 5 more recalls in mail next day. Baylor locking, fuel gauge reading wrong at 90k.

Worst car I have ever owned
As others have complained I have had transmission issues. Ford has replaced the clutch plate twice and it needs to be replaced again. I have a 2013 Focus Titanium with 39,000 miles and it needs front struts already. Something that shouldn't be replaced until 100,000 miles. Ford says it's due to wear and tear. The car still smells new. I take car of my cars. Just because it's 5 yrs old doesn't mean it has wear and tear. Don't buy this car. As soon as I can get rid of it I am buying a Honda.

Best deal I ever received on a car! EVER
The ford fusion hybrid I have wanted for a few years now, it meets my expectations not to mention the price was really low for what I received. I am very pleased that I finally got the car I wanted.

Worst car I ever owned
Had transmission problems from the beginning. How is it possible that ford has been making cars for 100 years but still cannot make a reliable car!? Poor performance, cheap exterior and interior. I gave ford a chance bc they did not take the bailout and regret it. Never again. The Ford Focus is a horrible car
