2014 Ford Focus consumer reviews

The worst car I have ever owned. Transmission is terrible. Among several other things that are malfunctioning. Now I'm stuck with it because the value dropped around $6000.00 because of the transmission lawsuit. There needs to be something done to protect us buyers against Fords colossal vehicles that are junk from the 1 day of purchase.

This is an amazing car and provides the smoothest ride. Style and comfort are of the highest quality!! Excellent vehicle to own. Great on gas!!

Car looks great, drives very smoothly, accelerates quickly, and look brand new in the interior. It was a one owner car. I love it very much

This is the first car I have bought and I really enjoy it. It?s comfy and good looking , as well as driving good. It also has been very reliable with no problems so far.

The car gets great gas mileage and is easy to park. I love how sleek it looks on both the inside and out. Reliable after getting the transmission fixed which was something I did to take precautionary measure.

The Focus gets Great Fuel milage. Love how it Handls. Be very Reliable had a few recalls but other than that the Car has Been Very Good. The only complaint is the inside room. I'm 48 It's not really made for me lol. Think it would be Great for a high school student or college student.

PROS: Nice looking car; comfortable ride; fair amount of cubbyholes; storage pockets on back of front seats, driver and front passenger doors; tilt/telescoping steering wheel; moonroof; lots of storage space in hatch (was able to put a small captain's chair in it with the back seats folded down and room to spare); decent size glove compartment; sunglasses cubby; nice compartment under center armrest. CONS: within the first few weeks of purchase, it developed a 1-2 shifting problem. A few months later, clutch and starter had to be replaced, then the horn and washer fluid tank and pump went out. One year and just 500 miles later, clutch and starter had to be replaced again. Too many critical problems for a then three year old car. By the time I traded it in at four years old, interior lights didn't work right, setting the air flow for face and feet brought the air in at feet only, CD player wouldn't work right all the time. I spent more money on it in two years than I ever did on my Durango in ten years. Loved the car, fun to drive, cute appearance, but too many headaches and entirely too hard on the wallet.

- Reason for selling: I do not drive the car much because I take train to work. - White Ford Focus SE 2014 - Mileage: 22,000 - Excellent engine - Clean title - Exterior and interior appearance is new - Tires are still very new - Include snow chain and car pillows for back - A little scratch close to the right rear door - Owned by a lady, the car is very clean and tidy - Keep the car in garage most of the time; therefore, it is in very good condition.

Would recommend for anyone doing any serious traveling or even as a daily driver.. Fuel economy is excellent without the loss of power that normally gets sacrificed.

I love my car but the Focus has a transmission problem - so I need to replace it. So sad. If not for the fact they won't won't fix the problem past 5 years. I would not mind.
