The car exceeded the expectations, will keep the vehicle for 5 or more years. Very good for sporty looking cars.

This vehicle was right up my isle for style and comfort. I'm a young mom and I wanted something my boys would fit comfortably in but not something that looks like a mammies car. The engine is quiet and the drive is very smooth. Definitely happy with my purchase from Merchant's.

I had some issues with the car right from the start. Both the dealer and Ford Canada ignored my concerns so I go rid of the car with only 4500 kilometers on it.

My first Focus, its not a bad little car. I have the base S model and it's pretty loaded with features right out of the box. Its comfortable to drive on rode trips (did 26hrs straight in it). The engine really needs to wound up to get any power out of it though (thats to be expected being a I4). The engine is quiet and i get good gas mileage on road trips. The 5 speed manual trans is really nice and smooth. The electric steering is garbage, the feel and feedback is vague and you feel disconnected from it. Its noisy and feels real odd in cold Canadian winters until it gets warmed up. No real other issues other than the long warm up time in cold weather. I'd lease another one for sure..

Love it. Quiet, lots of leg room, easy to get into because seats are high. Good front vision. A bit harder to see over my shoulders for passing.

I purchased this car new from a Ford dealer. The dealer managed to damage the spoiler and when their body shop got it they managed to damage the roof. When they took it in again, they managed to damage the rear hatch and bumper along with some other areas. Ford Canada does not even acknowledge these issues and just say that is what warranty is for. The dealer has now said that there is nothing more that they can do for me and the car did not get fixed. Based on the poor response from Ford, I would suggest that you never buy a car from them.

I really enjoyed My focus I only got rid of it due to the manufactures defect. It was great and peppy.

It's a 2016 and the transmission had to be fixed in March of 2017. I have had numerous electrical issues with the car from the now unusable USB port that has blown the interior lights out twice, the brake light not working after changing bulbs and now realizing (since I spent so much time in the trunk trying to fix the brake light because the dealership would not do it) the trunk lights in my hatchback do not turn off. They stay on and only turn off 10 minutes after turning the car off and only because of the battery saver feature. Other than that I do love the car.

Love this car, it looks nice and runs good, so happy to have a car that I'm not afraid of blowing up on the highway

Good little car. Good on gas and fun to drive. Throttle can be un responsive at times. Good car for most people.
