2018 Ford Focus consumer reviews

The Ford Focus has Transmission Issues. My clutch went out multiple times and had to be repaired. The cost to replace the clutch is $1500. The gas tank is plastic and imploded after 2 years and shut my car down and I almost wrecked. The electrical wiring is cheap and my trunk would pop open 4 or 5 times a day while sitting in a parking lot or driving. The lug nuts were cheap and the tire wrench would not work when I had a flat tire. I was stranded. I had to replace all lug nuts. I hired a lawyer and Ford Settled with me instead of going to court. Do your homework before you buy this car. I spent allot of $$$ in repairs. I personally will never own a Ford Ever Again.

Exceeds all my expectations. Huge trunk. Good frontal leg room. Responsive steering. Great sound system. Excellent gas mileage. Very satisfied with this car and its performance.

I love it! What a great car for a great value! I love the fantastic mpg that I get, and the ride is so smooth ~ I find that it has more than enough room for my needs. I am pleased to have it.

The car may be small but our 90 pound dog loves to ride in it to the dog park! It is so economical on gas we can afford to take him several times a week!

Like the back up camers, and hands free talking. Nice to have plug in for cell phone. Need a nice roomy back seat for grandkids.

I bought this car because I owned a 2003 and loved it. However, I am so disappointed with the way my 2018 drives. I thought I was buying an automatic transmission but it drives more like a manual. It is very sluggish on take off and rpms race. It sounds and feels like there is slipping. I took it to the dealership and they said that is the way it is supposed to drive. WHAT?!?! It doesn't even have 10,000 miles on it. The rest of the car is fine but the driving experience is not. I am so frustrated. I was hoping to own this car for a long time. Thank God I have a warranty because I'm sure I'll be using it on the transmission.
