Overall superb vehicle!

This vehicle runs great and includes an awesome amount of perks with it. It is great having a V-6 while still having room to place anything in the vehicle too!

Love the over all handling of vehicle. Just got back into a sedan after my last was totaled. This vehicle is comfortable. Love my features I have.

Unexpected Let Down

I purchased my 2011 Ford Fusion used with only 5000 miles on it in 2015. It test drove beautifully and looked just as great. We are now in 2017 and I have only put 4000 more miles on it. The first thing that malfunctioned was the radio's ability to pick up an AM radio frequency. This happened within the first 6 months of ownership. Just a few months after that I replaced the first of 3 interior door handles. It so happens the handles and the mechanisms within the handles are made of plastic. Ford is aware of the frequency at which these handles break but as of 4 months ago have yet to offered a replacement handle with better workmanship and materials. I have had to replace shocks, struts, drive axle (passenger side), hood latch cable, rear linkage, and control arm bushings. This list is not including the 4 recalls that have been executed while still waiting for my airbag recall to be initiated. I own a 2003 GMC Envoy XL. I bought it in 2005. I've had, by far, more problems out of this Ford within 2 yrs than I have had out my Envoy that I have owed for 12 yrs. and have taken across the country multiple times. I would never own a Ford again and as soon as I can keep this Fusion out of the shop for any length of time, it will be sold.

Love my Fusion but family is bigger now!

I bought my Fusion in 2013! It is now 2017 and the only problem I have had with this Fusion was power steering went out which that problem was covered under a recall from Ford so it was free to fix. Of course, I had to change the tires since I drive more than the norm. My Fusion is perfect and my fiance was talking about trading it I seriously yelled because I love this car lol!

Dependable

Great look. Great mileage! Good overall car. Problems. Constant front end knocking. Capless gas tank sensor issues. Constant tire pressure monitoring system errors. Transmission failed at 150,000 miles!

Hot Garbage

At first I was a little reluctant to write a review here, as I noticed this car was highly regarded. Nevertheless, I see the overwhelming majority of reviews were written when this model was about 2-3 years old, with less than 30000 miles on most models. My car now has 70000 in its 5th year and already, I have had to change the electronics in the drivers door (which upon failure will prevent the door from opening from the inside, let alone the window to work), endure an awful squeaking and metal grinding sound coming from my front suspension which has gotten progressively worse over the years, and now have a failed air compressor, which will prevent me from having cold ac (in Las Vegas). All together, given that I would also repair the latter two problems with a local "mechanic", costs to fix these problems will total about a third of the price I bought it for. If you see this car at a dealer, turn away and do not look back. You have been warned!

This is my 2nd Ford Fusion

I purchased this 2011 because I love my 2008 Fusion. The 2008 and the 2011 are built on the same identical platform. I'm a big dude and drove my 2008 3400 miles to see my family and it is so comfortable. The driving position is perfect. The adjustable steering wheel is ideal. Great car.

mpg

I see all the reviews getting 27+ mpg. I have never got over 29 mpg when I first purchased it new in 2011. I am averaging 24-25 mpg in city or hwy. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to get better fuel mileage?

Great and Efficient Vehicle

I am really glad I purchased my Ford Fusion. I am in love with the features that come with the car. The SYNC feature is great, I am able to continue my conversation that I was having before entering the car. I love that it plays my pandora once I enter the vehicle and picks up after a call ends. The lumbar support in the Driver's seat is great. James was so right when he said I would love everything about this car. He was determined to find me something that would fit me and my lifestyle, and that he did. I am extremely happy with my new car!!
