Solid sedan

I bought this car to commute 100 miles (round trip) each day for work. I've been very pleased with the fuel economy and reliability so far. I bought it in June 2014 with 28,000 miles on it and just rolled over 110,000 (August 2017) and have not had any major repairs or problems.

Great Car

The car is more than I expected. Original tires and brakes lasted greater than 60K miles. Comfortable ride and great mpg

Reliable, comfortable, decent MPG's

SEL model, fully loaded. Comfortable ride, decent power, somewhat lackluster MPG's for a 4 cylinder.

Has some issues...

I am reviewing the Fusion SEL. It's a higher end model with all the bells and whistles. Bought used. The power seats do not work. The battery dies faster than it should; about every year. The turn signal has stopped clicking along with the alarm chimes.

Not for me

Car takeoff sucks, but when it finally do change gears it's a smooth ride. Mine jerks alot, but for someone starting off driving or an older person the car could be a good fit.

A smooth ride

This car was really nice to drive. It had plenty of interior space and I didn't have to worry about people not having enough leg room. The only issue is that a previous owner put a poor alarm system on it. So when we would unlock the doors, we only had a few seconds to start the car before a very loud alarm would go off.

Good, dependable transportation

Purchased new in 2012, SE model with 2.5 l engine. Handles well, very quiet and comfortable ride. City mileage of 21-22, highway 30-33. Only negative would be depreciation.

OK Car

This is a simple Ford Focus, cheap and cheerful. Performs as expected and no mechanical issues so far.

Best.Car.Ever!!

I LOVE Fusions! We just bought our third, gave one to our oldest son - a manual I4, just got a Sport AWD, and mine is an SEL I4. It gets great mileage, I love the seats - and it's so big inside and the trunk is spacious enough to get supplies from the feed store for the farm! It's responsive, though not very powerful, but it has plenty of power to get up our mountain year round. It did great in the snow for PA, and the back-up camera is great for teen drivers. I will likely be driving it cross country for my daughter to use at school in CA. Single cd changer, but usb is the go-to for music for the kids. I hate the design of the 2013 and newer Fusions, but this has the front end grill that matches our Expedition, and I love the look. The rear looks like the older models, but that's not the end most people see coming! Very happy with the car. It hasn't needed anything other than oil changes, so far, and our son can do them easily on this model.
