Excellent value truck
I've had my Maverick XLT for about 7 months, and wow, what a great ride. It was about a 4 month wait for the factory order, but I got my relatively loaded (for XLT at least) with 4K towing, FX4 off road and the luxury package (heated seats/heated leather-wrapped wheel; some bed accessories and features, etc.). It has handled everything I've thrown at it so far. The 2.0 EcoBoost is a fantastic little engine and makes this truck scoot along quite nicely. And it's very tune-able if you're into that. MPG is about as expected; I average around 25 mpg with mixed city and highway driving. Interior materials are on the lower end of quality, but there was definitely thought put into design and it looks quite good. The orange accents (XLT) are a great touch. The infotainment is pretty basic, but Android Auto works fine. It's not wireless, but I bought a wireless dongle that works well with the system. The stock speakers are garbage, however. I already replaced the door speakers and it was a big improvement; next up is a subwoofer. FordPass app has worked every time I've used it (usually to remote start in sweltering heat/brutal cold). The 120v outlets are awesome; I leave a small cheap laptop plugged in and it just hangs out in the passenger seat pocket. I've used the bed outlet to power some tool battery chargers, as well as a fan and TV. I would for sure make the purchase again. It can do 95% of the "truck things" that most people buy a pickup for.

Awesome vehicle.
I’m a sales rep in a metro area… lots of miles. This vehicle gets 2.5 times the mileage of my prior vehicle. It’s comfortable, sets high enough I can see, I can still haul stuff and four people can set! It’s exactly what I need and most of what I want.

They can't build fast enough for demands.
We LOVE our Maverick's - we drive two of them, and they drive/tow great! Pulls a boat, no problem, great gas mileage, and loaded with everything you need - without the Big-Truck price! Great value, great look, great Truck!

Very cheaply made truck.
Ordered a Maverick and waited almost a year to get it. After driving it for a little while, I was not completely happy with the truck. The ride and powertrain were very unrefined. It is definitely a cheaply made truck and it shows. I traded it in after a short time for a Honda Ridgeline. The Ridgeline cost a little more but it is a far superior truck. I'm glad I ditched the Maverick and went with the Ridgeline.

Better trucks out there.
I test drove a tacoma, ridgeline, and maverick, all 2023s. By far, the Ridgeline was the best vehicle. Well worth it. Except for the Mavericks gas mileage, I was not happy with this vehicle. People, educate yourself. The novelty has worn off but supply and demand has caused the Maverick to skyrocket in price. Way too much hype.

Poor ergonomics.
The Maverick pickup is not the truck for older people. It is difficult to get into and to get out of. Running boards are of no help. Actually, running boards proved to be completely worthless for me the driver. My wife gets on her's, passenger side, turns around facing out, and then sits down. Swivel seats would solve the entry and exit problems.

Swindled
Yea, it's a truck, and it's a hybrid, but ford needs to put these mimi trucks together better!...if you test drive one, take it on a bumpy road, listen for rattling coming from the dash/side panels...I thought ford made solid trucks... I was wrong! I will never go down that road again!

Worth the wait!
My 2023 Ford Maverick has yet to let me down. 40 mpg combined, comfortable ride, and a compact pickup to boot, all for under $25k out the door (at MSRP). Had to wait a while for it (484 days) but it was worth it.
