My dream car, I could not afford a 1967 fastback, the retro 2006 fist the bill for me. engine is easy to get to. it has just enough modern features to drive every day, like power seats. it is 2019 and I find a lot of 2005 or 2006 on the market right before Xmas in this cold area. Good time to buy one is now before summer and prices go up.

I was looking for a lower cost higher performance car that would have a strong aftermarket and plenty of parts on the market for support. I ended up with this 2006 Mustang GT convertible and couldn’t be happier. It doesn’t have all of the creature comforts of the new cars but it has plenty for me. Hands free Sirius radio, power seats, power top and plenty of performance under the hood. It will make a great beach car and daily driver.

The 05 and 06 models had spark plug issues, I've experienced it a few times but pretty simple to fix. The hp is decent for a beginner car.

Since the two years I have owned, updated, modified this vehicle it has turned into the best Mustang I have ever owned. I've owned 5 Mustangs. It has handled all my road trips. Great mileage-my best is 28.1 since the shorty headers and BBK catted X pipe. I'm only selling to get a pick up truck and returning to Tennessee. I'm retired so miles are highway trip miles.

I bought this 2006 mustang used in 2010 and I’ve gotten my use out of it. Supremely reliable as a daily driver hence how I’m able to drive it passed 190k miles. It looks cool plus it’s fun a great combination.

It is exactly what thought it would be. It’s fast, fun, and gets looks. It’s not particularly economical. Butt I didn’t buy it to be economical.
