Great looks, great power, great car!!
I bought this Redfire 2007 GT/CS Mustang from a dealer a few hours from my home. I felt the deal was exceptional and well worth the trip there. I was right, the car is terrific. The car has awesome power (300+ HP) and incredible looks. The styling on this car is exceptional with the "California Special" package. It has extra air scoops, custom bumpers and a nice wing on the deck lid. The package also includes 18" chrome wheels to top it all off. I especially love the "California Special" emblem on the rear panel and the GT/CS side stripes. Uncommon are the dual power and dual heated seats, a bonus for sure. Although ideally I would have preferred to have a manual shift, the automatic transmission works flawlessly. We've already added sequential turn signals and expect to be doing some exhaust work soon to make it sound as good as it looks. Another plan is to get a cold air intake on it in the next few weeks. I have been looking for the perfect mustang for my son, and this one is meets my expectations of the mustang persona, and with the GT/CS package it is in a very unique class. He's thrilled with our purchase, as am I. This is simply a great car!

First car I owned
I love how this mustang handles. It has a lot of power that I will need to learn to control.... I love how the car looks inside and especially outside. Air conditioner works great and fast, the stereo system could blow a person out! I plan to enjoy this vehicle for years....

Hottest car I've owned
OK, this isn't a Lamborghini but it doesn't cost near as much either. However it's a great car. Powerful, sporty and comfortble for a small car. I get positive comments on it frequently. I was fortunate to find a five year old car with only 30k miles on cars.com. It's a 2007 Mustang GT California Special with chin spolier and rear fascia, two tone leather seats and 18" polished aluminum wheels original to the CS edition. A lot of car for the money.

Great car but.
Very happy with my Mustang, first one in more than 20 years.Except for a rust concern under the hood, which I didnt notice untill after I brought it home from the dealer.I contacted Ford and the dealer and the car is still under the warranty only 27,000 miles. They would not do a thing(very disapointed). There is a service bulliten on this concern but because there isnt any perferation they wont cover it which is total BS.

2007 Ford Mustang GT California Special
If you need "cheap" speed, there are few better choices than the Mustang. Yes, it's got a telephone pole out back for a rear end but, it's better at turning than GM's old F-bodies and for me at least, it's far more comfortable than a Nissan 350z. I did consider the 350z but, I'm a big guy (6'2" and well north of 200lbs) and foundd the Nissan too small once the door was closed. The Mustang is nothing like my Raptor in terms of interior room but, the sound track from the V8 with flowmasters outback makes all other audio entertainment a non-factor. This chassis was designed for a 300hp V8 but, it really could use more power. Torque is there but, mostly at the mid to high end of the RPM range and it could use a sixth gear on the highway. Of course, these are all things that Ford addressed in the 2011 Mustang which is the same chassis with new body work and a much better and more efficient V8. While I look forward to an independent rear suspension in 2014, I hope they don't screw up everything they've gotten right in this car since 2005.

Had first problem
With less than 15K miles on the car the driver side lower ball joint has already failed. It failed inspection and made a "thumping" noise from the front end. My 3 year warranty has expired but, the 36K mile warranty has not. Ball joints just do not fail with so few miles. Ford would not help me with the cost of replacement. I never had a problem like this with any other Ford vehicle.
