2012 Ford Mustang consumer reviews

The car is definitely stylish looking and also performs very good for the price. But there are some reliability issues though. In my short 2 week ownership of this car (I bought it with 55k miles on it and everything is stock. so I believe its not been treated badly or abused by the previous owner), I had to replace the front lower control arms(issue with 2011 - 2013 mustangs, but some people had them replaced for free during the warranty period), replace the oil pan gasket which together costs ~1400 (including labor at dealership). Then sometimes, the car is way too jerky in the first and second gear near stop signs and slow traffic. Also it has some idling issues (bad IAC valve issues with the 5.0 motors as per google forums).

I would definitely buy this vehicle again. It's proven very dependable and gets great gas mileage for such a sporty-looking car.

The 2012 Ford Mustang GT, is possibly the best amount of horsepower you can get for the price. The fuel economy sucked, but the acceleration this car would provide was loud, messy, aggressive, and awesome! Basically everything you would want out of a V8 Mustang. The speedometer was true as well, for i once tested the top speed on a mexican road, and it reached 156mph / out of the 160mph shown on the dash, WHICH IS GREAT! (Car was completely stock as well).

Great value for the performance for this car. Car handles great with extremely brutal acceleration. No problems to report

This car was great for commuting as it was entertaining and peppy but good on gas. Especially good for beach trips or safaris with the convertible.

Best bang for your buck when it comes to performance, Most customize-able car out there with lots off aftermarket parts to make it faster and better in every way possible. This car is definitely a head turner.

I have always been hesitate to buying a ford but I love the mustang it is my first of many. very reliable very stylish and everyone gets jealous when you have one.

I have wanted a Mustang for 30 years and finally made the purchase. I prefer the body styles between 2007-2014. Racing stripes and body style are the features that are timeless and sporty!
