What A Car!

I bought this car for what's under the hood and it certainly does not disappoint. I highly recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires, at least for dry conditions b/c that's all I've driven in thus far (bought the car yesterday). These tires grip like nothing I've ever felt before. I've never been one to really care about the interior of a car, but I can say that even at the base interior for the GTs, Ford did well on this one. Anyone looking for fun, this would be a good one for you.

The car met my needs, many upgrades, leather seats, new tires, and tons performance!! Car was a demo that only had a few thousand miles on it when I bought it. Must see!!!

Best Mustang ever!

Great daily driver. Selectable drive modes makes this Mustang fun to drive and experience a different car in each of at least four different modes. Compliments abound when driving my Mustang....

Think Twice

If you are looking to purchase a 2015 or newer mustang with the 2.3L ecoboost engine in it just be warned that if you are looking to modifie this car even in the slightest way performance wise you might blow the engine. Ecoboom is a real thing and it will leave you on the side of the road and cost thousands of dollars to get fixed. Obviously ford won?t help you and in my opinion this newer 2.3L ecoboost engine can?t handle even just a few little performance mods.

Worst car I've owned

Where can I start, by far this was the worst Ford I've ever owned.there are a few things you may want to look at when purchasing this vehicle. One there's an uncontrollable White smoke that comes out of the exhaust if you run the air conditioning while idling. It takes about an hour for it to stop, and secondly check your battery.I had to battery leaks from two different Factory batteries that actually burn through my battery cables. Just a poorly engineered sports car.

Lots of Ponies--But Not For Me!

I am a "senior" but young at heart. I've owned Mustangs off and on throughout my driving life, starting with a '66 GT. Bought my GT base brand new for $31,000 delivered, right off the showroom floor. I had actually gone to the dealer to purchase a Race Red Focus ST and the salesman messed up a dealer trade to get the unit, so I fell in love with the Race Red GT on the floor and took 'er home! It had no options whatsover--base trim with 6 spd manual trans, cloth-fiber seats (both front seats were power however--pretty rare these days in a "base" trim). My impressions: TONS of low and mid-torque power, almost to the point of being "silly" (and inviting tickets). I loved the new exterior styling too, although would have preferred at least 19" wheels (they just seem to fill the wheel wells better!). Front seating for both driver and passenger seemed a bit tight--narrow I'd say (I came out of a '14 Dodge Charger RT AWD which obviously has an interior area advantage anyway). Middle console seemed chintzy and not very substantial for as much stuff as most drivers like to store these days. Same with the glove compartment area--pretty tight and not much for anything other than the owner's manual, and a small bag of tissues. Cup holders were also tight, not able to hold even an average size coffee mug. Visibility was fair, but a definite blind spot exists over both sides of the rear seating, plus the rear window due to its tilt doesn't offer much in the way of vision. One thing that really annoyed me in the way of visibility was that the outside mirrors were TINY--I mean I've seen larger mirrors on a motorcycle than what Ford puts on these Mustangs. The ride was harsh--much more than the Charger's--and the worst thing I found was that despite driving conservatively, I could only muster an MPG of around 18 on a combination of city and freeway driving (60/40). I got better mileage on that hemi with AWD (rarely under 20mpg). I know most GT buyers aren't going to be terribly concerned about MPG, as cheap performance is their objective, but as gas prices head north (which they inevitably will do), that could be an emerging factor. For me, at this point in time, I guess I'd rather throw $39,000 into a new Charger Scat Pack--that seats 4 comfortably and would be a better option as far as road trips, etc, than about the same--or more--into a new GT.
