2007 Ford Ranger consumer reviews

I like the exterior styling.The gauge cluster inside is good and easy to read.The 3.0 V6 has plenty of power for me but the gas mileage is terrible.I only got 19 mpg on the highway and 15 mpg in city driving.It handles well but has a rough ride due to the high-pressure shocks.It also sits higher and you get the feeling it might roll over.There is even a sticker on the visor warning of a roll-over possibility.

I have a new extra cab XLT with the 2.3 4-banger, 5sp auto. I bought it because it was the only truck with the features I wanted for under 20k. I love the looks. The engine is a little weak (I had a Nissan truck with a 2.5liter and it would lay rubber in 1st and 2nd gears.) An,d it wants to "crab walk" everytime I go over railroad tracks or any other angular-type bump -it doesn't track well. Overall, though, I am satisfied. Good value for ther money.

Is there anything even close to the bang for the buck of this truck? I dare you to compare!!! You will pay at least $4000.00 more for an import truck with the same features. This truck is a true mid-size truck!!!

Bought the work truck package without the frills. Love the smooth manual shifting, the strong power steering and the capable four cylinder engine. Great gas mileage, the dark grey paint job is the coolest color ever. Hope they never stop making this truck and I hope they don't take the American soul out of it by trying to make it like its Japanese competitors or like its European cousin. The high driving stance gives me a commanding view of the traffic. Sandbags in the back give it the needed stability. I hope it's still the same Ranger that it is today when I decide to buy another one.

Bought the 4.0l 4X4 Sport. Tons on power for such a small truck. A little hard on gas but given the power of the 4.0l engine, definitely forgiveable. Only dislike is that the suicide doors are a little whistley. Dealer says they can be adjusted though.

Great truck! I have the 4.0 Litre FX4. Only have 2000 km's on it but she runs like a dream! Already gone 4 wheelin and its has no problem crawling through deep mud. fuel economy is bad but not THAT bad. What do you expect?

I really like this vehicle. It's great looking and has the strength for most things. The only thing I don't like on it, is the way it handles washboards on dirt roads. It constantly wants to slide, but with weight on the back, I'm sure that'll settle it. I'm very happy with it.

Its a Ranger, enough said. If you like trucks this one is great. I have an XLT model with the super cab. The 4.0 liter V6 and power options for windows, rearview mirrors. 6CD mp3 compatable player allows hundreds of songs to shuffle through. You have to test drive one to know,,,,
