Great vehicle up to 100k miles...

I loved my Acadia for the first 100,000 miles! Roomy and stylish!! But once it hit 100k, things started breaking...and fast...from the water pump to the AC to the electric windows, and finally the fuel pump. The fuel pump malfunctioning did a lot of damage and it just wasn’t worth the repairs. Unfortunately these cars don’t seem to hold their value as much as others due either. But again, for 10 years this car was perfect!

No thanks

I have driven 3 different Acadia's owned by friends and family, and I did not like any of them. They feel cheap. The seats were middle of the road comfortable. Does not take bumps well. If you don't love the look of it, don't even waste your time test driving one.

Owned it for almost 10 years, been great

Excellent family vehicle, huge inside, but not too big outside. It seats 7, the 3rd row is usable by adults (for shorter trips.) Best part is you don't have to drive a mini-van.

Worst car I've ever owned

This car put me upside down within a month of purchase. Pwi warranty with purchase paid 1/3 of cost. Issue's seam to stem back to a 2014 warranty "fix"at 40,000 miles. Somehow ended up in my lap.

Worst most unreliable car.

This car had so many recalls and issues. After five years? Call it a day because you will be dumping money into it every four months. Do not buy!

GMSEE it in the shop.

This crap engine has sucked through oil since the first year. Oil on the spark side of two of the plugs, TIMING CHAIN worn out at under 1200000 miles means pulling the engine out to fix it. Bad steering gear, bad steering pump, bad struts, bad rack and pinion, transmission (faults)! Big expensive piece of crap. Did I say yet that its a BIG PIECE OF TOTAL CRAP!

Love this car for my family of 5!

Plenty of space & runs great! We love our Acadia and hope to get many more years out of it! It has low miles and a tow package which we love. We plan to tow a trailer with it and cannot wait to see how it performs

Water leak front window stabiltrak problems

This is a roomy vehicle and nice to drive . Accept it has more problems then anyone should have in one vehicle . We bought it with 39,000 miles and 3 days later figured out that the front windshield was leaking and dripping into my steering column . The dealership would not take the vehicle back. So I had gmc involved . They gave a warranty for 30,000 additional miles . Within a month later it was a snow storm I was trying to get home and guess what the belt comes off . They tell me I drove it into a snow bank . I say it was not and we live in Indiana and we get snow . So I can’t drive it in the winter now ? There r documented moments where we would lose steering while Turning . And the car would stall . I returned it to the dealership notified gmc and told them I was not coming back for the vehicle . I felt it had to do with water damage because the vehicle had been sitting on the lot in rain snow and ice for months . They gave me my 5 th loaner car and said they would not call until everything was fixed . I still did not want to keep the car felt it was unsafe for my teen to drive . Every light on the vehicle is on constantly and my auto start no longer works . Now the Stabili Trak light is on we get reduced engine power while driving 70 miles an the car just gives out . Pretty sure I smelled something burning the other day . And at that time the vehicle was not having this problem . Maybe GMC just wants these vehicles to catch fire and burn to the ground so they can keep looking the other way !!!! 🤬
