It is very nice and extra roomy. I really like it!!!!! The Acadia has a back up camera that really persuaded me. I love the double sunroofs.

Great when new, junk later

Experienced several issues with the electrical and emissions and timing chain replacement which would have been costly. Only 150,000 miles and it was falling apart.

So far it's amazing!!!

We needed extra room with growing kids. The Acadia has provided us that. The love the remote start and also the automatic hatch opener and closer. It makes opening it so much easier. The 3rd row folds all the way flat which comes in handy for packing all of our sports equipment. The interior features are so crisp and clean. We love our Acadia!!!

Comfortable touring SUV!

Love the styling, looks and room inside. Easily fits my growing family of 5 and pet labrador retriever. There are both FWD and AWD models - opt for the AWD if you live or plan to drive in northern climates with snow and ice.

In love!!

With four (3 in 5 pt harnesses, one in a booster) it's hard to find an SUV that fits us and is practical. With the 2-2-3 seating option of the Acadia, it not only meets our expectations, it surpasses them! There are so many extra features in ours that we love. Definitely a great value for so much! I'm not sure we will ever look for anything else.

Great Looks but a gas GUZZLER!

The GMC Acadia is very roomy and comfortable for a wide range of occupants. The seats are thick and bolstered and they have a decent width. The tires could be a tad larger to lessen the harsh bumps on uneven surfaces. Acceleration in the V6 is massive with (VVT -variable Valve timing) the oomph! you feel will rival most V8's that are much larger in placement. Keep in mind to get all those ponies running at the same time, causes your gas tank to attack your wallet like a King Cobra after a rat! Things thing drinks gas like a thirsty farmer drinks water! I have literally seen the needle move while sitting in idle. The outside styling draws lots of looks as it gives off an executive classy stance with just enough chrome to make sure you never want to jack it up in the air on super shocks and put mud tires on it. With its hunched shoulders in the rear and muscular side body shapes and flat wide rear door, its dressed to impress. The front end gives off a firm but I mean business face, with its brushed chrome accents. The manual shifting could be improved. It feels jerky and unfinished. As you scroll up through the gears, and you slow or brake- you have to dial down the gears to these abrupt half shift jerks at each gear you lower it to. Lighting is more than sufficient and those LED tail-lights are bright enough tot be seen on a NY highway. The engine is a bit noisy too. V6's usually have that problem anyway, so no big deal. All in all I would recommend this SUV to anyone looking for a nice vehicle that scoots when pushed but just remember to stack something away for that extra thirsty tank.
