Very disappointed and sad

I don't know about other owners of this vehicle but I never ragged my vehicle and always took care of it. Now that my warranty went up my mechanic is telling me that TWO of the cylinders went up and it will cost me $4,700.00 to get it fixed out of my own pocket. 1) is the next engine going to last 7 years?!!!! 2) I will NEVER buy another GMC Vehicle again. My 2001 Chevrolet van is older and so is my 1997 Dodge pick up truck is older and I NEVER HAD A ENGINE PROBLEM. GMC has lost my business. The 2010 GMC Acadia is only 7 years old and should not have these issues. I paid $45,000.00 for nothing but headache and heartache. I was going to give it to my daughter for college and I can't even trust it.

Very reliable car I ever driven after 23 years

only buy acadia 2010 because you can have it all in one. No mechanical or electrical fault in four years.

Never again a GM customer

I own a 2010 GMC Acadia and take very good care of it. Recently my check engine light came on and gave a code of #P0008. This has to do with the timing chain issue and is KNOWN. GM extended their extended warranty for 2008, 2009 and some of the 2010;s because of it. My car has 85k on it and all my service records are available. GM refused to stand by their product and told me they would not cover ANY of it because I don't have my vehicle serviced at the dealership and because I didn't buy it brand new I am not technically a GM customer in their eyes.

From quad seating mini van to acadia

I went from a nice 2011 van that had the sliding doors and bucket seats in the middle row to the 2010 GMS Acadia SLT. I LOVE my Acadia much more and giving up the sliding doors was worth it! I looked at several other vehicles that had the quad bucket seats because getting to the third row easily was a must... and this vehicle was perfect! I will say there is less room in the Acadia for the middle row and last row so if you have multiple teens or adults that need to sit in the last two rows they won't have much leg room. I think the motor in this one is the same as my van, and the seating arrangement is the same, but the get up n go in the Acadia is MUCH better than my van. The gas mileage is about the same as my van which was expected but the overall look and feel of driving this vs the van is hands down much more preferred!!!!!

Most confortable vehicle I've owned

The GMC Acadia is confortable, reliable and drives very smooth. Also, the OnStar available on the GMC's is worth the money due to the turn by turn navigation along with the ability to have an accident reported before tou even pick up your phone. It is extremely confortable and all the second and third row seats fold completely flat which is not aleays the case in an SUV.

Best handling car

Very pleased with the Acadia. Drives and handles exceptionally well. Had a Grand Caravan and liked it but this has AWD, primary reason we switched, and has great performance. Very comfortable even tho it doesn't have all the bells and whistles.

2010 GMC acadia

I downsized from a Ford Excursion to a 2010 GMC Acadia. I love how much horsepower the Acadia has. It has a roomy interior and with the 3rd row folded down, I have the same amount of room as the Excursion (without that 3rd row folded). The seats are not as comfortable for long rides though, they are a little hard. Overall I am very pleased.

Great ride

Love this SUV. Owned it one year, no problems. Smooth ride. Very roomy even when using 3rd row seats. Had several long trips -kids very comfortable, even in 3rd row. Parking assist and and rear view camera standard really love these features. cons: haven't gotten more than 21MPG on long highway trips , then again, we are usually fully loaded with 5 of us and luggage. I like the interior design but dislike the hard cheap looking plastic dash.

Great Car, but a little pricey!

I bought the 2010 GMC Acadia SLT in 2009 and have been quite happy with it for the most part. I have owned a variety of SUV's, Minivans and Cars over the years and this car is definitely one of my favorites. I own my own ranch and it causes me to live out and there are dirt roads and mud so the AWD was a must, but it seems to be more front-wheel-drive based which was a little disappointing. the handling is great as well as the comfort but with being 5'5. backing up without a backup camera is difficult with all of its blind spots. I have every available option, but i still felt like the Acadia was extremely over priced. I feel that a well equipped Acadia shouldnt top more than $35,000. Mine being nearly $47,000, i probably wouldnt buy another one considering all the other well equipped crossovers that are much less. overall it has been a great car, but i will more than likely trade within the year.
