Great truck, dislike the wood grain interior

Truck delivers decent fuel mileage, lots of power, increased ride comfort vs. 2010 I previously owned!

New to me, but so far, awesome truck!

This GMC is new to me, however, it blows me away with all of its features, ride, power, and style. It is the All Terrain SLT model, and wow .. it is loaded. Pulled my boat this past weekend, and it tows great ... good power, and handles well. Happy so far ... but it's new to me, so I don't have much info on reliability ... but I hear it rates quite well.

A good down to earth truck nothing special

The truck has plenty of room all the way around especially for big guy. It's very comfortable to drive. You do set a little low in the seat. I feel the designers should have positioned the driver a little higher. But it's fine, I do see why they put a backup camera in the truck. The 6 speed transmission, once you get used to it is fine. But I do feel it's a little quirky at times. The side mirrors are great, handling is great, breaking is wonderful, the air conditioner works okay. The stereo sound is average.

First truck

This thing rides like a Cadillac, handles well, road trips are a treat. You have to get a locking bed cover to turn your bed into a trunk and all the cabin space for your passengers. I put the FlowMaster exhaust with mild growl and it is more fun to drive, the exhaust goes silent after 3rd gear so on highways it soubds stock until you wake it to pass then back to sleep. Two issues the nose is straight so it is hard to see over but it makes the truck look nice and it's a big truck makes parking tough. Great on gas and everything else. Oh, the Bose does not compare to the Ram Alpine system but it still sounds nice enough.

Second one I've owned.

They keep getting better. I owned a 2012 and sold it and did a search on-line and found this new 2016 GMC Sierra SLT Double Cab. It is loaded with equipment. We recently drove it from Ohio to Los Angeles and it got close to 20 mpg on the trip with the 5.3L engine. It is fun to drive.
