Nicest truck you can buy!
I bought the All Terrain package with the 6.2L engine. It is the most comfortable truck I have ever rode in. Very nice interior design with well placed buttons and easy to use touchscreen. The 6.2L is crazy powerful but also gets 11L per 100km. Very fuel efficient! I recommend a Sierra to anyone looking for a top of the line truck. So impressed!

Best Pickup so far
After owning a 2011 GMC Sierra I was reluctant in buying a new truck because I loved mine and never had an issue. I was hoping to run it to the ground. I saw all these incentives on the new 2018 pickups, so I decided to check some out in the same trim line as what I had ( All Terrain ) I test drove the 5.3 and the 6.2. As much as I like my 2011 the 2018 grew on me fast. I decided to get the 2018 6.2 All Terrain Sierra and was not disappointed. I've only had this pickup for a few days now and love it. The suspension, the controls, the looks, feel and seems sturdier than what I had.

Active fuel Management is junk
The GMC Sierra is a great truck all up until you get to the active fuel Management. Maybe I’m just not used to it. It will seem to lag quite a bit when trying to accelerate. The switch over can be felt by the v8 turning into a 4 banger. I sold my 2001 Silverado and upgraded to the 2018 Sierra so this is just a whole new animal to me. Just doesn’t seem like I want to save fuel by buying a truck. Maybe leave the option to disable the option without buying a aftermarket chip.

Great truck if GM would fix a few things
Great truck if GM would offer a few solutions. 1) give the owner the ability to disable the seat belt warning chime. 2) Fix the issue with the AFM that causes throttle lag and hard transmission shifting. Why would anyone want this feature on a full size v8 truck? I almost backed out of a deal until the dealership explained a solution. I can drive the truck in Manual 5th and it shifts and rides like a dream. Why would you build a truck that shifts do hard and hesitates between gears under normal driving conditions?
