Beautiful Truck
SLT 4 wheel drive crew cab. Drives and rides as good as our Denali SUV and has more back seat leg room. No regrets so far.

Disappointing
I will preface my review by disclosing that I have owned 3 GMC Sierra trucks in my lifetime. One was a 1989, the second a 2000, and the 3rd was a 2010. All 3 trucks were great, especially the 2010 which I really wanted to hold onto but ended up having to give it to my elderly father who needed a truck after his met an end in an accident. Based on my previous experiences, I decided to get a 2019 Sierra. Mine is the base double cab 4x4 with the 4.3 V6. It was the only model that fit my budget. After having it for a month, I can conclude that I am disappointed with what GM has done. On the bright side, the power train is excellent. The 4.3 V6 is very responsive and seems to be on par with the 5.3 V8 I had in my 2010. The 6 speed transmission also seems to shift much more intuitively than my 2010 as well. The styling is also attractive but it comes with a downfall. On the other hand, the issues I have found with the truck are significantly larger. First, only word can describe the interior: cheap. The seats are as hard as rock (I had to get a seat cushion to make the ride more tolerable), the grab handle on the driver's side partially obstructs the vision of the driver's left eye, the center arm rest has no storage bin and is not even with the front seats, the sound quality on the radio is as bad as a cheap transistor radio, there is only one single USB port, and the seat belt tends to carve into you neck when you buckle it in. Next, the driver's seat has no seat height adjuster. Even a base model Cruze has it. Driver's come in all shapes and sizes. If you can't adjust the driver's height, it becomes uncomfortable and unsafe to drive. This issue combined with the massive size of the hood really hampers visibility. The truck, in my opinion, is too big and bulky. This makes it hard to see where you are going and if you might hit something. I can not believe that GM could make such a profound error. One of the things I have enjoyed about my previous GM trucks was the compact size of them compared to the F150 and Ram. It made working out of them much easier. This has been completely eliminated with the new design. The truck is simply too big and bulky and has too wide of turning radius to be acceptable, particularly in city driving. Next, the fuel economy is terrible. I am getting 14 mpg in the city. That's lower than the sticker stated. The main reason for that is that huge hood and bulkiness of the truck. It creates too much wind resistance and thus forces the vehicle to work harder. How could GM possibly create a vehicle that has worse fuel economy than its predecessor and its main rivals? Finally, the OEM tires have poor traction in wet weather and their is a lot of wind noise and rattling in the front end when taking the truck up to highway speeds. In the end, this has been a disappointing experience for me. No truck is perfect but for me, the biggest issue with this new design is the poor visibility that is created by: 1. the big hood 2. A lack of height adjustment for the driver's seat 3. The sheer bulkiness of the truck. If you are interested in purchasing the Sierra or its sibling, the Silverado, I strongly suggest that you take it on an extensive test drive and see if the visibility is a concern for you; especially in city traffic and when parking. Don't make the same mistake I made. I've been a loyal GM guy but this design makes me regret my decision and makes me believe that the Ford F150, the Ram, and The Tundra were better options than the over-hyped and overpriced tin can on wheels that masquerades as the Sierra/Silverado.

No XM radio in a $49,000 2019 pick up truck
This is about my 15 th gmc pickup truck. Have never heard of not getting a Xm radio on a 2019. You might think we are in 1980 with only am/fm radio. Very disappointed with this!!!

Most comfortable truck I have owned
This truck runs great and is very comfortable. I actually get great gas mileage as long as I’m not towing anything. My only negative is not actually GM’s fault. I had my truck less than 3 weeks and found it in my driveway on blocks and no wheels. They also busted my window to get in and get the other key for the locks on my lug nuts.

Comfort, power and beauty, great truck
Basically a Denali at a Sierra price. Looks great, most comfortable truck ever. If you're into off road it can handle it or a long road trip, versatile. The tailgate is a great idea.

Better Read Before Buying
JMO If your expecting to purchased a Industrial Grade ( This Truck is not its just a slogan or Gimmick as I see it ) I own a Sierra Denali , it started breaking around 32,000 miles , buy 36,000 numerous things have gone wrong. Truck has been pampered if you saw it you'd think it almost A NEW VEHICLE . GM EXTENDED Warranty is a joke , cover nothing defective that GM could deem as COSMETIC . Like paint , interior part ( Dash Board cracking , like THEY ALL DO IN NEWER GM PRODUCTS NOW ) Chrome peeling off anything ETC... IF you want the truth , and your doing serious before many a costly investment for 5 to 6 yrs , READ THE 1 and 2 STAR REVIEWS , allot of the 4 and 5 Stars telling you nothing about the actual vehicle reliability , most are less than a month old . Plus in the 1 and 2 stars you will learn what people have experienced from the Customer Service . Lastly people seem to think when GM offers huge discounts and they are getting a great deal , one should ask WHY ? and getting a " GREAT DEAL " on a turd , is still a turd . Gm spends more time on looks and design and very little on reliability and customer service . Both are huge when investing the amount of money you will spend
