The last of the great accords.
The last of the great accords. Purchased 2007 accord ex 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine in 2011 with 46,000 miles. I currently have 160,000 miles on the car. Up to recently it was just basic maintenance, oil brakes and tires etc. I had no mechanical repairs until the car was 16+ years and 150k miles, then it was just starter, control arms and 1 lower ball joint. The check engine light came on recently for the 1st time ever at 159,000. It was an oxygen sensor which I was able to replace myself. Before this car I had a VW jetta where the check engine was never off. Great car it runs and drives the same as when I first got it. Hope to drive for another 100k miles.

2007 Honda Accord V6 Coupe: A Fast, Fun Car
We bought our 2007 Honda Accord as a CPO car in 2010 and have had it for 13 years now. It has the V6 engine, which we found to be very reliable; the engine has never needed a repair. The automatic transmission has also been trouble-free. This is the fastest car I've owned - almost too fast for us now that we're older. Like the 2004 Accord sedan we also owned until recently, this car has been a wonderful value. We have 137,800 miles on the car now, and I really think it will last at least that many more.

K24 thumbs up J series thumbs down
DO NOT BUY THE V6 DO BUY THE 4 CYLINDER! What a super reliable car the k24 accords are, my 2004 currently sits with 882,009 miles, that ISNT a typo, minimal repairs and very insanely reliable. However My 2004 Honda accord EXL V6 sits with only 77,200 miles and it’s SECOND transmission just blew AGAIN, first one exploding at only 38,900 miles! STAY FAR AWAY from the v6 automatic and even the manuals are known to have issues but not as costly. The 4 cylinder is incredibly cheap to repair, efficient and over the 880k miles I’ve replaced commonly the V-TEC solenoids, their filters get all dirty and requires only removing 4 bolts behind engine head, very simple. Air filters, oil, transmission fluid, and brakes (all Hondas are notoriously known to warp their rotors, luckily they are very simple and cheap to replace, I recommend rockauto and don’t buy cheap foreign parts on eBay unless you simply don’t care about your car.

Best car ever owned
This will be my third Honda Accord, had an 86' and recently fell in love with an 02' but the trans went on me. Hoping to have a better run with this one. I got a 2007 EX-L black with Black leather. 164k miles. Car is in excellent shape, steering is tight and precise, sporty yet comfortable ride. The seats are great very firm but supportive, nice to not be sliding around in corners. AC works great just in time for the warmer weather. Interior is clean and spacious only small issue is the headliner is sagging a little in spots no biggie. Exterior is near flawless minus a small spot on the driver's door has some rust forming. On to my favorite part of car... The 2.4l motor. I immediately changed the plugs (Ruthenium HX) and a high flow air filter and also put a bottle of Redline system cleaner which is working great. Noticed a big increase in power and throttle response. This thing is ZIPPY! Not necessarily fast but it has plenty of power and torque for everyday driving. Transmission shifts good no issues. I only filled up once and got 28 mpg combined which I think is great. We'll see how it does on long trips and once the Redline works it's way through the system. Oh and the brakes which supposedly are weak? I think they work great have no issues in city or highway stopping. All in all it's a fantastic piece of machinery and still looks good I plan to drive it for as long as I can. With Honda's reputation it should last for quite some time and hold its value to boot.

Honda Work Horse
I bought the car in New Hampshire with 200,000 miles on it and drove it to Northern Michigan and back with no issues. 1100 miles one way. 33mpg. Not bad for a B-lot car. It's the 2.4 Ex-l model. The leather seats aren't the greatest for long trips. Some may find them comfortable tho. The have seat cover with gel padding that i will buy. The factory Nav is outdated but adequate. I do like the trip computer. The ac compressor sounds like it is on its way out. One of the cooling fans doesn't work. Which is making the ac suffer at a stop. But other than that seems like a good purchase. Nice to have confidence in a vehicle to put some miles behind it. I travel for work so I'll fix some mechanical quirks and test that Honda reliability. It's a new England car so has some rust. Will probably buy a southern one next time. Has hail damage. So not winning any beauty contest. But I like the Gray color.

Great car!
Overall, I love the car. The interior cloth roof began to come down but vc all I had to do was staple it back and it’s fine. The radiator fan gave out 2 times it seems, it was replaced in 2013 and I just replaced it again 2022. It wasn’t expensive to replace since I did if myself but mechanics wanted to charge me $500, doing it myself was $160 The gas mileage is amazing! The power from a 4 cylinder is shocking, love it! Love the leather interior, the drivers side seat seems to be worn down a bit but that probably because it was used so much. I have 309,000 miles and it’s still going strong, I do all the maintenance on time and try to keep it in good condition. Hopefully can get 500,000 out of it!

Ah leather and a sunroof, perfect.
The 2007 Honda Accord EX has gotta be my favorite car to drive, and I have had a lot of vehicles in the past. So far good luck with mine, odometer is currently at 166,798 and she still hums down the Highway at 110 with no issues and handles like a sports car.

Window problems with 2 different Honda's
The car is comfortable and gets good gas mileage but has some significant problems. I purchased the car used with 36000 miles in 2009. By 2015, 3 of the windows wouldn't work and neither would the radio and CD player. An odd problem was the glove box. If you closed it you couldn't open it. I had it replaced at a cost of $400. At the end of last summer the air conditioning broke. It blows hot air. I have a little over146000 miles but I have to replace it.

It’s my first car and I love it
I graduated from college recently and started my first job, where I now have to commute an hour each way. Bought this car at 160k miles and it works beautifully. As long as the previous owner(s) maintain the car well, you’ll find no problems at all most likely. Shout out to Honda for making super reliable cars tho. ESKITIT

If you can get one....buy it.
By far the best, and most reliable car the 2007 Honda. There should be a Honda 2007 club to join. Comfort is the key to this car and fun to drive, and you can see everything unlike the new cars where you need a camera and a lot of technology just to see around you.
