Most reliable year is 2007 Honda Accord LX 4 dr

I have 420,321 miles and still runs like a champ. By far the best year in reliability and speed.. only oil changes and gasoline for over 10 years!

This car is the most reliable car I have ever had.

I am looking forward to many wonderful years with this car. It is just the car I need to do what I need to do on a daily basis.

I expected more from a Honda...

The car itself does not live up to the Honda name like I am used to. The styling leaves much to be desired, it is the same body style as 2003. However, the two biggest shortcomings in this car come from the radio and the engine/transmission performance. The factory radio is abysmal. There is not an aux cable input, however there is an aux adapter harness in the rear of the radio AND and aux button on the radio itself. WHY Honda would have the capability to offer this feature, and why they include the button on the radio without the capability of connecting is beyond me. I ended up just buying an aftermarket unit and installed it in the compartment beneath the HVAC panel. If I have to tear apart the dash just to plug an adapter in, I might as well add a bluetooth unit. What a shame. As far as performance, there is a violent shuttering around 55-60mph every time. For the longest time I thought this was an issue with either the tires being poorly balanced or a front end alignment issue. However, upon servicing both areas, this was not the fix. Turns out, this is a common issue with the V6 models. Meanwhile, the transmission is incredibly jolty, regardless of how gentle you try to be with the accelerator. Makes comfort difficult to say the least. Turning radius is also very poor for a sedan. Making a U-turn is really not an expected issue in a sedan. Overall, I expected more out of a Honda Accord.

I wish I never sold my old honda

This car is very reliable if it has over 200000 miles on it, it still runs like new. I sold my old honda to buy a bigger vehicle for the family and I wish I still had my old honda

Great Car

Despite the recalls, the 07 Honda Accord is a very dependable, long lasting car. And the 4 cylinder VTEC is a strong performance motor for only being 4 cylinders.

13 year review

I bought my 2007 Accord LX coupe brand new in 3/2007, and I'm still driving it in 2020! It has 150,100 trouble-free miles and is still going strong. I've only had to do routine maintenance. Not once has it ever left me stranded. The 2.4 L 4 cylinder engine has been, and still is, reliable. (It has port injection, so it doesn't have problems with gas getting into the oil like direct injection engines.) No problems with the 5-speed automatic transmission, either. The car runs and drives well, and the the interior has held up pretty good considering it has never been garaged. The paint on the roof is starting to oxidize, but it's 13 years old, so I still consider it good that it lasted that long. I still love the way it looks, it looks so sleek, stylish, and sporty compared to newer cars with their open-mouth catfish face. Not a fan of newer cars with their CVTs and turbos. I hope to keep my Accord coupe running for many more years to come. It serves my needs, gets me where I need to go in style and still gets 30 MPG on the open highway.
