2014 Honda Accord consumer reviews

This 2013 Accord EXL V/6 is the first Honda Accord I have ever owned. If someone had told me several years ago that a car with this much power could get great gas mileage I would not have believed it. This is a very quiet, very good ride. I have owned cars that cost many thousand more that cannot hold the Honda Accord a light in all categories. This car will turn about 100 MPH in the 1/4 mile and gets great gas mileage on regular fuel. 278 Horse Power and gets great gas mileage when driven in a sane manner. This car has two cameras and many great features for the money. You don't have to give up anything, test drive the Honda Accord, a really great ride for the $$$$$$.

Bought the Accord brand new and have never driven a car with so much road noise. Would never recommend it to anyone.

I sold my sports car and was looking for something more comfortable but not too boring to drive. I test drive cars from Audi, BMW, Acura, Cadillac, Subaru. I had owned a Toyota Camry but found it boring. When a friend recommended the 2014 Accord Sedan EX-L V6 , I test drove it and bought it. The interior is great, the engine is very powerful, and the automatic transmission is fine unless you put it in sport mode(in which case it has a mind of it's own so I guess I goofed not buying the Sport model with paddle shifters). I like the exterior styling with the exception of the chrome accents on the door handles and trunk & hood. I get 34mpg on the highway which is great for a car with 270+ HP. I ride bicycles and I was able to get a tow hitch installed, so all in all, for the money, you can't beat an Accord.

The transmission broke in my brand new car in under 24 hours. The car had a total of 54.7 miles on it. My friend and I sat in traffic for 2.5 hours waiting on the tow truck the dealership sent. They replaced the transmission, but would do nothing to ease my worry about it breaking again or other major problems down the road. Basically laughed at my worries and told me hope you have better luck in the future. I will never buy another Honda and I sure will never shop with any dealership owned by the trade group that owned the local Honda dealership. It was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I felt like I was manipulated and lied to.

10k miles on my 4-cyl 2014 EX-L sedan. Power train, ride, and mechanical integrity all excellent. Fuel economy is great, with plenty of power. My only complaint is the infotainment software, which is glitchy. For example, yesterday the top display froze when I shifted from reverse into drive, the backup camera guidance lines stuck on the display but with no camera image. I could not get it to go back into radio display, or any other, mode. Shutting off the car and restarting solved the problem, but that is not what I expect from a high-end Accord. Weird little things like this happen too frequently. I'd still recommend the car, but it annoys me sometimes. Fix your center stack software, Honda.

Excellent features, which are standard on Accords. Handels well, good power and pick-up. Last Accord had 214,000 mi., 16 years of good driving. I recommend Accords to everyone I talk to.

its been really great so far, love my car a really appreciated it, pretty good interior and exterior, and great on gas. CVT was an impresive power on it. all mechanics work perfect. Ocean Honda of San Juan Capistrano CA has the best team of representative and i thank you all for working on me.

Was looking around for a new mid-size sedan for my growing family. Focused on affordability, reliability, economy (MPG), quality and safety. Styling was also a factor. Our top 3 was Honda Accord, Ford Fusion, and Mazda 6. The Accord won in affordability, reliability, quality, and styling (we got the Sport Edition, in blue).

I drove a new Honda Accord EX-L and found it to be just what I was looking for. The size and styling are perfect. I anticipate many years of satisfaction!

This will be my 8th Honda Accord over the past 22 years. Good value and a very reliable car. Features are good - everybody has something they like or dislike but over all a quality car. This model has rear view camera - great - and blue tooth technology - also great. They came standard on the car and are a pleasant addition.
